  1. Thanks, Scott.
  2. What a day! Grass mowed; pine cone ginger cut down; 2 2lb meatloafs in the oven; and finished this coupe. I don't do race cars so I tried to make the Stone/Woods/Cook gas coupe into kind of a street freak by putting in a full interior (seats are my castings), an exhaust system, and a gas tank. It's finished in HOK lime gold over a gold base with the fender lips basecoated with silver. Those are Ma's Resin M/T Sportsman tires in the back.
  3. Sorry to hear about the blizzard you had, Tom. Nice & sunny here. I was able to get the grass mowed and a bunch of pine cone ginger cut down today. Christmas decorations tomorrow. Come on up and enjoy the warmth.
  4. Lovin'it and it's so SHINY :)
  5. Unreal paint, terrific details, and SHINY :)
  6. Sunny & 75 down here. It rained on & off all day yesterday. The grass needs to dry out so I can cut it and put up the Christmas decorations.
  7. Yo Bill - what's this Bob's Paint, Etc. stuff? Website?
  8. Shouldn't be. You're going to be polishing the clear and the plan is NOT go through the clear to the paint.
  9. If you order online (like I do often) you put the goods at risk with the USPS. Right Josh?
  10. If you make all kinds of scale cardboard boxes, you won't even have to finish the inside . Looks like a very neat project and look forward to updates.
  11. Depends how bad the burn is. At times I've been able to touch up a burn(s) with a brush. Kandy over a basecoat is rough because you might have touch up both applications. Clear right over a basecoat color isn't too bad. Oh, all I use is House of Colors paint.
  12. Happy to try and help. Just go easy the first time and don't be surprised if you burn through in some places.
  13. Tough question, Liam. I go over everything with 2 passes for each grit, trying to stay off the edges. It's going to depend on the clear, how many coats, how thick the coats were. I usually put down 3 coats of clear, wait a day and then start sanding.
  14. Lookin' good, Rob.
  15. Very, very nice. What did you do to the running boards? Decals? And it's so SHINY :)
  16. Cute little car even if the steering wheel is on the wrong side. Can't go wrong with SHINY :)
  17. That is green. Don't take it out in a forest - you'll never find it again. Nice job and waiting to see it completed.
  18. Looking better and better.
  19. Before people get a job with the USPS, they attend a mandatory class on package handling presented by airline baggage handlers
  20. My lovely wife has corrected the Crazy Scale Auto Parts website. If you get some time, check out the items I cast. If you decide to eventually place an order, please contact me first. If you ordered an air filter, there's no way it would cost $1.00 to mail it. I hate it when I'm charged excessive postage so I won't do it to others.
  21. I wasn't trying to make an excuse - just trying to provide some additional information as an alternative for the people that didn't get their package. I've had packages delivered here by mistake occasionally and a call to UPS or FedEx has taken care of the issue the same or next day.
  22. But I believe FedEx & UPS have an automatic $100.00 insurance. If you didn't get your package, file a claim and they pay you. Usually items valued at less than $100.00 don't require a delivery signature.
  23. I put a few drops of Dawn dishwashing detergent into a bowl with water. The sandpaper seems to move easier.
