  1. Mine had/has a broken windshield frame, was that way from the box. So, I'll probably build it like that black one in Street Rod Builder or some other mag, don't remember. Low, Mean, and Black as Black! I would use the doors as is, they seem to work okay for me. Project is back in the box though Just don't have time for them all
  2. It turned out better than I expected. Jairus did a fantastic job on the layout too!
  3. Love the hat, Dave. When you going to return it to me????
  4. The online auction site has just reached 300 registered users to bid, buy, and sell model cars online. It's free to use. http://www.emodelcars.com Sorry for any confusion
  5. I announced this in the Editor's Corner, but this is the basic outline of the contest. You have to start with any one of the four Retro Hobby Flashback Trike kits: The Roth Mail Box Chopper Tiki Trike Milk Trike or Taco Trike. The Trike has to have three wheels: one in front, two in back. I know there are some who would try to get this past us: two in front, one in back, but that's not allowed. Has to retain original trike layout. You can change motor, drivetrain, wheels, tires, body, or no body. Whatever you like. Here is a picture of Rich Robertson's trike in progress: Rich says you can use the Mail Box Chopper or the Tiki Trike for this style. They are the two with four-cylinder Honda engines. The Milk Trike and Taco Trike have V-8 engines, and the body is part of the frame/chassis. The frame in the Mail Box and Tiki Trike can be built without the bodies.
  6. I agree, very very nice, low mean and well done it just looks like it fits right
  7. Still one of my favorite models, Dave You did good :-)
  8. I do. When I would view the pics in one program, it would do a slideshow and all the doors, hood, trunk, would open and the car not move I should make that a QuickTime movie and send you. The blue Tuner almost made it as a cover. I still have the rough layout I was working on. I don't know why it didn't I guess the check didn't clear? :-)
  9. What great paint jobs I have been seeing here. Man, that F/C is fantastic, and the flames, on fire. We have to get articles and how-to's like that in MCM
  10. Haven't seen you in a long time, sorry haven't been to many shows lately. Keep on posting and building those great models. I always enjoy them.
  11. The best thing to do is call the Denver Office, 303.296.1600 They have the list and physical custody of the old guys, I mean back issues. I know a lot are sold out. Some sellers at shows have them, I used to see them when I was going to a lot of shows before.
  12. It was a technical glitch (i.e: I forgot to pay bill). Won't happen again, for another year at least.
  13. The name sounds familiar, but can't place it
  14. Brian, what's your secrets and/or tricks?
