nice! i like it. on the way to school every day i pass one of these going the opposite way, its a silver color. in a middle/lower class part of georgia its hard to find sports cars like those. i always get all excited when i see it, i feel obsolete in my mustang

if thats the revell (i think) baldwin motion SS i just recently got the exact same kit :0 its pretty nice though, usually i just do junker builds from cars that fit like junkers out of the box

2007 Mustang GT with a new roof treatment
conor1148 replied to miatamadman's topic in WIP: Model Cars
i wish my custom mustang turned out as great as yours did, mine was a regular 07 mustang with the engine replaced with a viper v10 and the whole front bumper replaced with a vipers front bumper, it looked awful but for my first chop i thought it was pretty dang good. it would have looked TONS better if i had taken more time and not screwed up the hood (it doesnt sit right AT ALL) -
under the hood is the same color as the body, i just double checked for ya looking great so far
-
it looks great... one question... is the orange car in your sig 1:1 or a model? i seriously cant tell
-
in my opinion if you didnt have any trouble putting together the build then it was a failed build completely, you dont learn anything from it. just my .02 cents it turned out great though

its up to you, usually if its black i will paint it if i have the paints but if not i wont bother.

-
ill probably pick this kit up soon, i have the wheels from the 06 gt model that look just like real gt500 wheels
-
if you are wanted a set of cobra R lookalikes there is a revell 2006 corvette Z06 model that comes with a set of wheels that look like the z06 wheels and a set of wheels that look just like the cobra R wheels, unfortunately no extra tires.

where to get wheels for funny cars
conor1148 replied to conor1148's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
THANK YOU!! that is so much cheaper than the other options i had, especailly on engines (which i desperately need) these are like $20 cheaper -
ok then! ive been working pretty slow on it but surely enough its getting there, the frame is still pretty rough but its getting there. the body and the frame is on a removable hinge so i can take the body from the frame fairly easily. i just need some wheels, a huge engine, and some time to finish it i only put the stock engine in there for laughs, no way in hell im keeping it in there i made the parachute myself, its not attached yet though, just held in there by the bars did alot of removal from the frame, still needs alot of sanding but you guys get the picture any suggestions are greatly appreciated, especially like where i can get the engine
