  1. The A M T Jeep is an accurate representation of a C J 2 model . Ive actually had the 1-1 Jeeps around me and it measures out well. Ed Shaver
  2. Go head John , yeah ....... I hear ya , give me a rough time . I'm a big kid , I can take it. Ask anybody who REALLY knows what I have said to them to their face on this forum . Ed Shaver
  3. Actually ya just need to grab the New/ old A M T 1925 Ford Model T kit and look right on the Chrome tree, thar it is ......... See the center section ? No go have fun ! Ed Shaver
  4. Hummmmmmmm, I think you have uncovered a RARE , ( read expensive ) 1958 S M P Impalla convertable body ! Now , if it were me , I would strip the awful paint off of it and be very careful as to further breakage and store it in a nice clear display case with a decent paint job. I can run down the origional catalouge code for it later . Price in 1958, only 1.39 !!!! Ed Shaver
  5. Chuck, I can attest to the great quality from Al at Ma's resins! he does some outstanding work . I'm a guniea pig of sorts for his 1 ton tires and a Dana rear he sent so I could get a another wrecker done . The pieces are flash free and the detail is superb ! I don't say this in too many cases but Al is definetly a high caliber resin caster !!!!!!! Ed Shaver
  6. Art, both kits will be a welcome additions to any Replicia stock and Diorama builders such as myself . I'm always looking for the unusual to staff my ever growing line of service stations . I've been wanting to do a model of a White Tower Hamburger store . Both the Chrysler and the Hudson would make welcome additions . Ed Shaver
  7. Jon, about fifteen years ago, both me and a couple of friends of mine said toone another ," We don't need this . " We wererefering to the loal I P M S club where to many of the Hiarchy had taken building model airplanes to a religion ! They had already in so many words told me to build what "THEY " wanted to see , not Gasoline pumps . I pretty much at that point became a "Closet modeler ". Thank you for posting this as some of the "JERKS" on this forum could well benifit from the contents ! Ed Shaver
  8. I'm real sorry to hear of the divorce . Tony was e-mailing me on my personal e-mail and we were dicussing the construction phases of the current Twin Chimney , ( Crown Central Petroleuem ) service station I'm desperately trying to get done . I havent written him in months as my mother suddenly passed away last month and my son has had some real difficulties going back to beginning of last summer . Hopefully things will get better for all of us ! Ed Shaver
  9. Face it , dere will always be candidates for the Springer talk show .Then two, there are those with NO DERN UPBRINGIN ........ Ed Shaver
  10. Charlie, the two bodies were one of the same .......... . However , the same could not be said of earlier G M sedan deliveries . take for example the 1939 Chevrolet sedan delevery used the doors from a fordoor sedan . Ed Shaver
  11. Great diorama , ya got any Apco maps ya wanna get rid of ????????? I collect such stuff ! Ed Shaver
  12. Well, the 1960 issues were Black. I've seen the Primer grey, Grey as in a real Grey, Red and white but that was I think in the late seventies when A M T was using re- cycled plastic . I bet Art Anderson knows the colors . Ed Shaver
  13. Mike , personally , I doubt that they will be all that popular . Nice idea, just not a popular one . Ed Shaver
  14. I saw plenty of items for the Formula 1, military and I P M S crowd . Didn't see anything ole geezers like me would be interested in like a 58 Pontiac Bonniville Convertable with tri carbs , Varoommmmmmmmmmmmmm...............Ed Shaver
  15. Skip, R & R reminds me of you're average daily newspaper with an editorial page . The editors , not the reporters mouth off about their slanted views of the world . Same here at Model Cars . personaly , I think Harry an Greg are shooting them selves in the back by deleteing this part of the forum . The bad guys who were putting up fodder for a few will show else where even by nefarious means if nessesary. I know this cause first, I write freelance for some 1-1 automobile periodicals and I own a NON- Modeling forum too. Ed Shaver

  20. Hummmmm, from the look of the pictures , I would say ya'all be in North Texas towards the New Mexico border . It's starting to get sparse there as in terrain , trees , and off in the distance , you can see the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountians . I miss my home folks ........... Ed Shaver
  21. James, I watched a little of the C B S Morning show today . I wouldda thought more would have been mentioned about the fatefull day nine years ago. What I saw was retoric from Michiael Bloomburgs mouth and some silly banter from the Newz readeders supposedly more interested in some Country duo......... Sadd. Me , I havent forgotten . Virginia lost yet another brave soilder in Afganistan defending our way of life so the Muslims can have their Mosque in N Y C ! See if they're sorry we lost another young man fighting fo freedom . Ed Shaver

I was at lunch today discussing archectural styles with a friend of mine and of course service stations came up as everyone wanbted to know what exactly if anything was going down on the Twin Chimney diorama I've been working on . Ive had to put htings aside to work on real cars and try and settle my mothers estate . Ed Shaver
