Something different to take pictures on

Very nice Nick, but you should mist the cotton with a little bit of gray to give it that realistic look. -
Dealing with snowy weather
JamesW replied to Simon's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
That's funny, cuz I think EVERYWHERE the minute the snow starts falling everyone seems to forget how to drive and they still want to speed, ESPECIALLY on Black Friday. Just yesterday some girl was on her cell phone and almost ran me off the road. I have a bluetooth stereo in my truck, so I don't have to hold the phone to my ear while driving, although I could. Besides that, I don't know how it is anywhere else, but here it is illegal to talk on your phone while driving. What's even worse is someone texting while driving, I've been guilty of it in the past, but I can text without even looking at the phone. In my personal experience, it's the people that are in a hurry that end up being late either because they get pulled over or get into an accident. Last week a guy decided he was in a BIG hurry and passed me on a double yellow doing about 50 in a 25. Apperently he didn't realize this is a KNOWN cop zone, the cop whipped a u-turn RIGHT in front of me, got pulled over and I laughed my a$$ off about it. If the cop had seen him pass me he not only would've gotten a speeding ticket, but a reckless driving ticket too. I've done my share of speeding, but have not done so in about 7 years. I lost my license once due to unpaid tickets. It's not worth it. -

I want 2 of the 2nd gen. S-10 Ext. Cab conversions from Perry's. Although I know I won't be able to afford them until sometime after the New Year. -

Just tell them you're opinion is "guilty until proven innocent" works EVERY time. -
That's kinda funny, cuz that's the EXACT kind I used.

Thanks. I tried sanding it down a little and then dropped it back in the pond. If that doesn't work I guess I'll head to the store.

If someone wants to steal my identity more power to 'em. You can't get blood from a turnip. -
What's the best thing to use to strip acrylic? I made the mistake of using acrylic clear over enamel and it cracked the paint. I've had it soaking in the purple pond for about 3 days and it still won't come off. Any suggestions?

Best/Worst Winter Vehicles!
JamesW replied to Chuck Most's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I hear ya George, there's no room for IDIOT drivers here in Michigan. I've had one accident in the winter, and that was my first winter on the road. A dog ran out in front of me and I TAPPED the brakes, the back of my Ranger Splash (fiberglass bed) kicked out on me and I slammed into a brick wall. Since then it's been smooth sailing. -
SIDEBAR to "Best/Worst" winter vehicles...

Crown Vic's are very scarce around here nowadays. Now it's Impalas, Mustangs, Tahoes and Chargers, and even a Corvette and Viper. We still have an occational CV and Caprice, but not many. -

Yup, but it also makes it hella hard to stop when the front wheels are on ice. -

I picked it up from a guy that had an ad up at Hobby Lobby, bagged, no instructions. I've been told it's the Van from the Race Team kit. Really nothing else planned for it, just finish it up with the rims from the first pic. It's a little lighter than the pics let on, not quite "weed green", more of a candy apple green. I'll have better pics on Christmas when I get my new camera.
