The reason for the change from the movie was because Stephen King wrote the book, and John Carpenter did the movie, Stephen King had nothing whatsoever to do with the movie, so John Carpenter had to do some things different than the book because of copyright laws.

the harley edition is very few and far between, but it is basically a lightning in diguise. it has everything the lightning does, including the body kit. all i can say is EBAY

I just recieved confirmation from revell on the cutty and regal............................................................both have been CANCELLED

I got a flyer from revell about the 87 Cutlass and the 87 Regal that says they have already been released, but I can't find them in stores anywhere. I have contacted Revell numerous times about it and I have yet to get a response. If they do get released soon, I will be buying every one my lhs has.

Thanks kevin, i'll look into it, if i can't find it i'll have to custom mix it, i'm not using it for the impala, but that's the closest color i can think of to build a replica of a LRM feature truck. (now if i could just find pics of that truck lol)

I'm trying to find the color that revells prototype 64 impala lowrider is painted but am having no luck. They call it Dark Pearl Magenta, but I don't think they make that color. To get as close to that color as possible would I just spray some Model Master Magenta over a black base and then clear coat it?

AWESOME project. I did a couple of the Belvedere's as Christines, but could never get the paint to come out right. That movie ROCKS. Can't wait to see her done.
