  1. I'm not him, but either Detail Master or Model Car Garage makes sill plates.
  2. You're that close to Pegasus? How much do their rims run in store, 1109's and 1119's?
  3. I'm gonna say real this time.
  4. Here in Hicktown Michigan it would REALLY turn heads. No one around here drives a hearse unless it's in a funeral. I'd like to get my hands on a 66, LOVE the body lines. "What would the neighbors say" is all that goes through my head. I would definatly like to here what is said behind closed doors about a hearse parked on the street or in my driveway. LOL
  5. Sweet bro. I wanna get a 1:1 Hearse, but ain't it kinda morbid drivin around in somethin that used to haul the dead, or in your case, the UNDEAD? LOL
  6. BAD AZZ MINI, wish I could do work like that.
  7. YEAH KEV, WHERE'S THE HEARSE. I'M A MEAT WAGON FANATIC, GOTTA SEE THAT BAD AZZ RIDE!!!!!!!!
  8. Looks like a good kit, now I gotta get me one. Just another project to add to the 5 others on the bench.
  9. WOW I WAS RIGHT FOR ONCE!!!!!
  10. I can't say anything that they haven't already said. I'm 28, been building for about 18 years or so and I'm still learning a few things. There's always something new to learn when building. It can become frustrating sometimes, but take a little break and jump back in. Don't let the first couple of models discourage you if they don't turn out the best. My first 4 or 5 were terrible, and to this day I still can't paint the best. Keep moving on. This is a great hobby. Just remember to HAVE FUN.
  11. Same thing happened to me with a Brookfield 1999 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Dually. But I had intended on a new paint job when I bought it.

######, no one knows how to do anything bu criticize anymore. I think the car looks awesome. It don't matter what anyone thinks anyway, you're building, that's all that matters. Personally, all of your builds that I have seen are awesome.
  13. Wow, Ed, great work, looks awesome.
  14. If you look closely, the door and hood lines don't have the depth a 1:1 car would have. I could be wrong, but I'm gonna say MODEL.
  15. If you will be needing them, I won't be using them. Willing to trade.
  16. Makes me wish we still had a KB Toys. They went outta business about 5 years ago.
  17. Mine was about 8 years ago, Riders Hobby Shop. The only REAL hobby shop in my area. I must have spent about $400 the first time I went in there, (and about $200 a week after that) After I moved they went out of business. I had heard from one of the former employees it was because I had stopped coming in there, he said I was their biggest customer. (I think he was full of s**t, but it was a nice compliment) Since then I've been doing all my buying online.
  18. CONGRATULATIONS Clay and Andrea. She is definatly a precious angel. (My one and only daughter was born 5 months ago, Feb 13th) Parenthood is such a blast. Good luck.
  19. Lookin good. I wouldn't even know where to start when opening up a car like that. (Afraid of messin the whole thing up LOL) Keep the pics comin, the more visual aides there are, the more likely I am to maybe try and give it a shot.
  20. I would love to see scale replicas of real wheels, KMC, AR, Lowenhart, Giovanni, etc. I think anyone building a scale replica of an actual 1:1 car would love to see them as well. I think as high as $20 would be a fair price.
  21. I know better, but I'm gonna say model just to be different.
  22. We do it because we love the hobby. There is just some kind of self satisfaction that goes with building a great looking car, with or without the extra, tedious details. Whether it fits in either car or not, great looking engine, I'm sure you'll find something to put it in.
  23. Thanks Jairus for the info, I did forget to mention the year. I believe it is a 1996. I seen them a couple times on ebay, but the prices got ridiculously high. If I were to slice and dice, I would screw it up royaly, LOL, (still a beginner in that aspect). If you happen to think of another caster that would make a kit for that year, please let me know.
  24. HOLY ######!!!!!! And I thought I paid alot for a piece of PLASTIC. Very nice looking build though, just not my cup of tea.
