  1. i will be joining this though my entry is as of yet unclear
  2. i cant look at this without hearing this song looks great makes me feel bad about missing the build thread on these oh, and congrats on the heir better lock up those models real good (i got a almost 3 year old running round and he loves getting into my cars)
  3. Remmi, that is way too much to qoute but im going to have to ask you to stop thinking things through so much as i would like to have a fighting chance at this
  4. by far my most favorite builds all time i would definatly be in on this IF the time allows on a side note R2 NEEDS to re-issue the pro-street superbee shoot, even with just a rolling chassis and engine at 10-15 dollars a pop they would sell like hot cakes (if you allow me ill drop a few pics of my builds)
  5. ive had one of those (close to it at least) in the works for ages maybe if you do a good job on yours it will inspire me to finish mine (hope you dont mind i throw out a shot or two of mine to keep the juices flowing)
  6. im getting so far ahead of myself here ( i mean, i will be gettting so far ahead, once i start) i am seriously considering finishing up the 4-4-2 the way i intended and entering the corvette drivetrain under a buick as a seperate entry (dont write that up just yet Nick)
  7. nope, just dont care much for them myself but i love the craftsman ship your putting into this one my favorite part is the spaghetti manifold
  8. dont see these anywhere near enough you have my attention
  9. looks great ive always been a big fan of MPC kits a word of advice on the race car though you know the tape you use to join two pieces of drywall ? that would make a much better representation of the safety net than the plastic kit piece (just my opinion)
  10. looks great my (almost) 3 year old loves playing in daddies model room but he isnt quite that skilled yet im sure glad for you you can enjoy quality time building models with your son
  11. great looking model the only thing lacking on it is more picture the whole description of what came from where is beyond me but i like the model
  12. looks like a very cool project i just might have to build one like this some time (seeing how ive allready build the prostreet/rosco version)
  13. iis this the DOH kit ? i actually like this one next time i have a coupon i might pick me up another one the first one i build i used the 71 pro street superbee chassis under it looked pretty good
  14. yeah. look for a tulip icon as for the model ,i like it i really like the trunk section, looks good do you still have the trunklid aswell or did you pitch that?
  15. wow almost looks real got a model in the make of that one too ?
  16. not bad i have models i started in 2008 that are no where near that close to done so would this be the first one you finished since 2008 ? (i know ive seen you around here since then)
  17. yeah, rather then going with a (expensive) resin engine i would try to find a donor kit (for about the same price) not only will it have the engine and transmission you need, it will also have a chassis so you dont need to chop or fab it on top of that this will leave you with more detailed suspension parts AND it will leave you with a body you might be able to trade off to a fellow member for whatever parts you need for your next project
  18. looking good
  19. a supercharger ? one supercharger? ONE? come one bro, this isnt a cossy your building you need some real boost to make real power on a side note...have i ever shown you this? two huge turbo blowing (hot) air into a supercharger you smell that ? thats the smell of roasting firestones smells good doesnt it ? got a thought for paint yet ? i cant figure out if this should be a black stealthy build of a bright in your face build (do i remember correctly you got a thing for pink ferraris) oh, one more thing wait for it wait for it "aspidienzo" aspide= viper, enzo=enzo and best part is...if you say it fast all you hear is "speed"
  20. its by no means my best model to begin with but i enjoyed building it come to think of it, i should haul it up and put it in the display case but i apreciate the advise thats part of what makes this site to great
  21. well if you put it like that it is a big difference thanks for the info
  22. love the story i can totally see this happening im not too excited to see 19inch rims under classic iron but thats your call (just be sure you can still steer) on a side note, this kit was one of the first i build when i got back into building and i still really like it i think its also one of the first kits i bought my nephew when i introduced him to model cars funny you should mention that...after seeing what i am up against i just pulled the trigger yesterday and bought a 96 corvette to steal the driveline out of to kinda make a pro-touring type build out of this (pics as soon as it gets here)
  23. thanks, the stripes came with the kit (i was pretty glad i managed to match the hood that closely though) i thought the nose and tail light panel were the only differences between the duster and dart sport ? then again, i know demons have different front fenders then dusters aswell so maybe there are more differences then i am aware off you know, it never even crossed my mind to fix the engine bay im sure i got several models on the shelf that have that wrong im not sure how much of the issues stemmed from the kit itself and how many stemmed from me jacking up the rear and just not being a great modeler if i could find one for a good price i would love to try and build it again to see what really lies at the root of this issue (would make a great entry for the horrible kit community build)
  24. no problem Tim give me a few days to match the nova stripes to the camaro hood and we'll get this rolling
  25. totally off topic here but i got a cousin named Jeroen not your typical cali name...how did you end up there ?
