Well… I have the Bug in 32 ounces of Easy-Off. We will check back this time tomorrow and see what transpires! I couldn't find the sprayer kind so we got the aerosol. THANK YOU!!! Remington

So this Easy Off... do you get it at Safeway or ALCO? Those are my two options...

Questions, questions...

Well... I got some 90.5% alcohol just now... but it doesnt cover the bug in the container. I have a lid but does the item you are trying to strip have to be completely covered? Thanks so so so so much for all the help. I would have bought some super clean but the nearest place that carries it is 30-45 minutes away. I hope this works! Remington On a total side note... how do the pictures (except the last one) look? I am trying to get to the point of ###### Cranky, Bill Geary and others on this board that have photography skills to die for.

Well... this isn't the way I wanted to start my first WIP post but... Our club meeting is in two weeks and I want to take the Bug that I am working on but this happened when I sprayed the primer: First of all, what in the world happened and how do I fix it? I am using Rustoleum primer as the nearest "L"HS is 2½ hours away. Secondly, I used 3-4 very light mist coats... and let it dry about 15-30 minutes between coats. Please help! This project is about to meet the business end of a sledge hammer! I tried to strip it in DOT3... but the brake fluid didn't even touch it... is it a plastic problem? As a last resort, does anyone have a body from the Gunze Sanyo kit that I can buy from them? Thanks a million!!!!! Remington

Anything happen with this? This sounds like an awesome group build! -
Awesome! I would take about 5 sets... Remington

hahahaha... I was thinking the same thing. Anyway about the car, the door panels look wonderful, the only thing I would add is some sort of speaker pod... flesh out the entire door panel some. Cool project... about 6 months there was a Bronco II pro street featured in Truckin'...if you would like some pictures, I would be glad to scan them. Remington

Well... I finally got some pictures of my project, but only this one turned out this time. I have a Ross Gibson 6.1L Hemi on order for it also. -
AWESOME!! I can not wait to see how this goes!

First off, here is a like to about 300 pages worth of pictures from that era. EDIT: It looks like it is close to 700 pages now, an absolute goldmine http://remingtonbox.blogspot.com/2008/07/o...ead-of-old.html Second, HELL YES!!!! I can't wait! I am going to be entering with a competition coupe, just not sure of the livery at the moment. Also, to make sure I understand, it can be a interpretation of a car from that area correct? As long as we have proof that kind of car raced at Lions?

Well... I started on the Challenger today. It is a promo model, so there is next to no detail. I started cutting off all of the offending parts, as far as I can tell, Humbinette's Challenger is a rollcage with a body attached... so its gonna have one heck of a tubular structure. I have found someone to design the decals so that headache is somewhat gone. I am trying to find out what motor is used in it, but I am not getting anywhere with that... I'll have an update (with pictures) Monday. -

That Challenger is unreal, from Speedhunters FD Long Beach coverage, it looks like a 3D rendering! Also, did you know that the car is chopped 1½"? The graphics are going to be a HUGE undertaking, and the engine is far from stock... -

Scratch my Trueno off the list. I am going to build Samuel Hubinette's Mopar Challenger instead. I am going to the city this weekend to get the kit Should be one heck of a challenge. -

AHHHH!!! Where did you get those Meister S1's? I really really want a set of those... -
Here is a link for some embossing powder I found: http://embossingcandystore.com/catalog/index.php This is an exceptional article. Just one thing, I was wondering why the pictures in all of your other topics do not show up. I really want to see that other big ('55?) project you did. Awesome work on this, I did not even know that Ford made a Cougar, I thought it was only Mercury...

Depending on the size, what about a 1/8 or 1/16 roadster bubbletop?
