  5. WOW, it is gorgeous. very nice and interesting built, congrats sir...
  6. The red on the steering wheel is the Callaway Brand Name. Callaway for a long time have produce performance Corvette and equipment. My guess is you'd have to contact them to buy the car. Here in Canada, it was not available through the dealer...as I know of.
  7. Thanks very much. The problem with this kit is to install the heat exchager to the exhaust and intake. Very though to align ang glue. Special care mustbe taken for it. Beside that, I enjoyed building it.
  8. It is beautiful. Very clean built, the interior looks good. Well overall it is remarquable...
  9. I realise about the paint. There was a big blue container aroud where I took the pics. It was in the sun thus reflecting some blue light. Should have tried to correct it in photoshop.
  10. Thanks Will do and try to lower the stance at the rear too.
  11. Sorry for being late with this. The colour I used was Tamiya aluminium spray decanted with Tamiya clear green in bottle. I added some green base coat that I don't remember. I know it's not helping much but it is a dark geen having a bluish tint...best I can do. The Tamiya aluminium has a very fine metallic that looks more to scale than many base colour for real car and also many model spray paint.
  12. Thank you very much for your appreciation of my model. Makes me feel good.
  13. Thank you all for the nice comments. Makes me proud of what I did last year...
  14. Wow, I remember these were not taken seriously in the beginnig but...What a nice machine and a very good built of yours. Very nice, sir.
  15. This is making me loing Rods a little more. Excatly like old rods we saw on the magazine...Love it, you did good sir.
  16. Oh yes I forgot the most important, I want to say thank you very much for the comments.
  17. The engine was imagined using an old fighter plane as a reference. The scale of that engine was too small for my Rod so I built one. Go check on my Fotki, I'll upload the pics of the construction. The engine as no scale, I just measure the with of the body and ballpark the size, as it is a fantasy car I did'nt mind not being precese. I put here the ref pic from the web I used during the built http://public.fotki.com/signmike/hot-rods--customs/39-chevy-rat-rod/ The flammes were cut out from a 10mils styrene sheet and cemented to the body, When dried I sanded them down a little, they were a bit thick the the primer sealed the edges before paint
  18. I wanted to do a Rat Rod for a long time, and I wanted it radical. I found this on the web and used it as an inspiration to build this... The engine, transfer case and motor mount were scrachtbuiled. It was my first time doing a rusted body... I left side tires from a sprint car for the rear with top fuel dragster rear wheels. I added some steel flames welded on the body and cutted the front end into flames to. I fabricated some seats with the flame pattern on the top
  19. I'd like to see, for my racing team display some Ford Vans, standard or with glasses. 1973 was ugly but I like it and 1992 to 2014. Also we have the Cadillac Escalade but it would be nice to see an STS or CTS and even an XLR . A DeVille would be interesting too
  20. Thank you very much, it is rewarding and fun to see you guys enjoyed it. At the beginning it was a challenge to me as I was not sure I could finish it, but I did and I'm happy to see your comments.
  21. I just completed this model of a Trophy Truck Baja style racing afetr 3 months of work.. The chassis is all scratchbuilt except for a Nascar engine, drive shaft and differential gear case. I also made my own decal and heavily modified the body. Hope you'll like this one.
  22. This project is now completed. I will post in the showroom section
  23. I'm enjoying this, congrats sir, nice work
