  1. I just completed thisn one. It is a resin and white metal kit in 1/24 scale, curbside no engine...It was enjoyable to built but experuend=ced some paint problem. Resin kit often have air bubble in the molding that need to bu filled. When you prime and paint these bubble came back to the surface, so I had to repaint 3 tiems to finally have a nice finish. But I have to say it is rewarding just to look at the finished model.
  2. I don't know if it still is unn production, I ough it a NNL East, 2 men were there witha bunch of it, they look like producers, I did'nt check
  3. Tonight I got the clear done...
  4. Well I was lucky on this one, I was able to lightly sand the run and respray the area, with a little buffing it will be fine. Her's a mockup to see what it will look like
  5. Swetting the details! you've done some real good work until now...I like it The problem at the beginning reminds me of golf. You do a practice shot before and when you finally hit the ball, there comes disaster...glad you could fix that window post...
  6. Here's an exciting project for me. For a long time I wanted to build another one, but I procrastinate on it knowing that detailing is a must for those models to look good. Well it's on the way now... Rail frame is painted with a mix of Alclad Aluminium and Gunmetal to acheive the metal look. The body is painted Ferrari 90's F1 red and most lettering is done.
  7. Started this fancy project this week. It is a resin and white metal 1/24 kit from Etzel Classic I bought at last year's NNL East. Finally decided to attack it... It is a curbside kit that is very well molded, as expected, some little pinholes have to be taken care of. The paint is not easy to apply since I experimented some static electricity. The paint have to be applied in very thin coats... Anyway it's only minor...here's some photos The wheel fairing are painted Alclad dk aluminium. The body is painted but there is a run on the bottom that I'll have to fix tonight
  8. Well I'll say like everybody said. It is a superb shelf model, cleanly built with the right stance. Nice job on the roof.
  9. A tow truck? great idea... Thanks to all for the comments , it is encouraging...
  10. You're totally right, it is even written on the box. I just saw on Google search a similar titled cabriolet and I just did'nt pay attention...Thanks for mentioning... My first idea was to paint the body a very dark red with the titanium fenders but could not find the right colour in quality paint (Testors red is terrible to spray and Tamiya was too light) so I painted it Tamiya Silver Leaf instead... Thank you for the nice comments... The engine is fairly detailed but since it was not to my taste I decided to build it box stock with no detailing.
  11. This is my first completion for 2015, I though a classic would be a new breath for me so i built this Monogram 1/24 Cadillac. This kit is well made for the subject but lacks some positive positionning tabs and hole. It makes it difficult to assemble cleanly. Specially yhe chrome equipment like windshield, luggage rack and all these little handles...LOL But in the end it make a great shelf model that is sure to bring attention...
  12. Looking Good,
  13. That's a nice paint job and that colour goes well on a Camaro...nice work!

  21. Thanks for the comments, I enjoyed doing it thinking of the real car of the past...
  22. Mr Cabana, who live in Québec had a racing career that span aver 40 years. He was a successful racer in Nascar north events. In 1986 he raced a Buick Regal that I present here. I used a 1/24 scale that I worked back to the week end racers specs... Here it is...
  23. I restored this glue bomb because this car reminds me of my young adult years. We would change the engine in it for a potent chevy 327...This made a bomb out of these little sporty and fun to drive cars. I also put a Ford 9 inch in the rear which was badly needed, (Some memories...LOL)
  24. Looking good, I loves when somebody builds those old Nascar...They looks fast
