  7. Well here Is another gee man I gotta get this stuff done, It's '59 ElCamino, nuthin speacial, scratched build the hood scoop, painted Testor's raddle can Saphire Blue, smooth'd It out, and here Is a shot of the motor with sowing thread wire...

Ok here It Is another wip, Yea I know get done with one already, she's a '53 ford flip nose, with nuthing real spaecial about her, other then the fact I scratch'd built the hood scoop, and the centerline down the hood, and I'm trying something new ( well for me anyway) on the bed, and I smoothed her out, her color Is Kustom Kolor Planet Green, the paint does look a lil well? bland It's only three coats and I really thinned It out, anyway here are some shots for ya... Here Is a shot of the engine, I'm thinking maybe wireing, at least the distributer...

  13. That ambulance/ hearse is comeing along real nice there Spike, I did some trim on mine too, tho that was a first for me, anyway good job man...

Ok guys I just added some scratch built trim, now thats unusal for me cuz I like my carz smoothed out, anyway I used 0.030 thick plastic sheet cut to a millameter thick, then I'll sand it down I hope to what will look right, like I said this is a first for me so, If It dont look right let me know, so's I can do better the next time I try this, later guys...

Thanx guys this will be a long build, It's a two part process part one I used Krylon's fusion for plastic texture'd paint , I did about three coats, use as many coats as you like to get the texture you want, It spray's a creamy white, then I used Krylon's fusion satin finesh black over the top of it, I still have to do the clean up you know sand'n the mask edge so I will see how I do'es, I try'd this out on a 59 El Comino bed cover and I like'd it so I thought I would try It on this. I got both cans of the stuff from Walmart. Oh yea! do it outside If you can, there Is plenty of overspray and It textures everthing...
  20. Well here It is with the texture, A lil rough to say the least, have alot of clean up work to do as soon as the paint dry's but It's comeing along. Gonna try and put some trim on It, from scratch. I know the paint looks glossy, but dry to a satin finish...
  21. When you cut the wind wings out awww man it makes it look longer, no realy lemme see if I got a pic, heres a pic with the wind wings cut. I have it in primer if that would be a better shot for you to see.. IM gonna post it soom... ...

Hay kool I'm building the same kit now I got my body ready, you might have to add some plastic or putty to the very rear quarter panels to make the rear roll'd pan look right, my rear pan was lower then the body, well thats what I had to do to mine, I also cut out the wind wings at the windows, I'll be posting mine In a few days. Anyway looks like a good start...

Ok here it guys the, finale mock up before paint, I still have some attetion to give the body before final primer and paint, now Im thinking two colors silver and sapphire blue metal flake, but not sure if I want silver on top or the blue , this was an experiment and I didnt think it would make it this far, but It has, thanx everyone for watching this build come to life.
