  1. Had to do a quick mock up
  2. Making some progress. Chassis just about completed. Working on interior.
  3. Foil work completed
  4. Jason, somebody resurrected your thread on the Ned Jarrett 61 Chevy. Did you ever finish that build?

No. Im still looking for decals for it.

  5. Taking a break to prep and paint something since the weather has turned beautiful here. AMT 1960 Ford Starliner. Started with Tamiya White Primer, Tamiya Black on the roof and Testors Tropical Turquoise Laqcuer on the body. Clear is Tamiya. Started looking at doing the Bare-metal trimthis evening. Dug out a set of Whitehall and 5 spoke mags out of the Dodge A100 pickup.
  6. Looking amazing. I too have plans to build this car when time allows. Been trying to find some great clear shots of the car. I managed to find this one in a set of Mario Andretti cards at an antique store. The cards came in a nice metal tin. Must be from early in Speedweeks as it doesn't have all the associate sponsors on the front fender.
  7. Progressing on my chassis as well
  8. Started working on my wheels and tires from Fireball Modelworks
  9. Dug this one out of the stash. This is T/A or R/T kit based on the diecast. I painted a few years ago with ScaleFinishes Plum Crazy enamel. I've left it sit for a while to dry good. Had some orange peel. So I grabbed a piece of 1000 and some water, then used some Mothers Pure Carnuba Pasta wax and rubbed it back up. Think it looks pretty slick. Wish the kit had the white longitudinal stripe for the sides. I grabbed a setof Mopar steelies and pias by tired for Fireball Modelworks. Never used them before. Any tips on the tires prior to applying the white letter decals?
  10. My just completed 1958 Plymouth Belvedere "Christine". Always liked the Stephan King movie "Christine". Finally got my version built of the star car. AMT model, Tamiya Paints. Box stock so it's not very accurate but it passes close enough for me. I don't think it's quite Red enough though.
  11. I've got 2 of his cars completed. Both 1965 Plymouths. I need more time to work on models but work and life always gets in the way.
  12. Cragers are from the AMT Baldwin Motion Camaro and the slicks are from the Revell Hemi Dart I believe (not sure though now).
  13. No I haven't finished it yet. I plan to one day but just to many things running through my head that I want to build.
  14. Looks amazing. I just picked this up. Was thinking about glueing the body together but wasn't sure about the interior and getting that in. How hard was that to get everything inside after the body was glueing together and painted?
  15. Another Landy if the tooling still exist could be the old MPC Challenger ProStock that was out decades ago. They brought back the Grumpys Toy Vega, why not the Landy Challenger?
