  2. Thanks for all comments. I have not modeling for about 2-3 years now...so I hope the inspiration will last for a while. @ Håkan : I´m almost done,..almost just the kitchen and dinner room left. Soon I´m gonna move my model workshop to another room...a more permanet installation. Here´s some new pics. on the injector hat. Linkage and fuel lines added. hope u like it / Rick

  4. 2 years since i worked on this project...hmm...time passes quickly. I coated the carbon injector whith a flat clear and started work on the Enderle barrel valve.
  5. Hi, Small update... It has been a long time away from the hobby now, but finaly I have a small update to share. The resin cast bucketseat and the scratchbuilt seatbase should be a great detail on the model. /R

  8. No no, I don´t use the spray can...i´m only using the paint...sorry if I was little unclear. For painting I always use a high quality Iwata airbrush. / Rick
  9. It´s actually gold metallic...but you are right, it looks a little bit green in the pics. The color, "Auto-K/Multona" Gold metallic #0563 are like an base-color and need a clear coat or two, to make it shine and glitter. I don´t know if Auto-K spraycans are avalible in US or if they are only availble in europe. / Rick
  10. Hi all, finally I got some spare time for this project...so here is a small update. Fueltank from DM...they look great, but I added a rubber O-ring on the outside the bracket. The grille shell and the fueltank glued together... Mr Vader assist with the small bolts, washers and nuts. thanks for looking in... / Rick
  11. Just a small update. It´s a little bit tricky to build a race chassie inside this little Vette body...I hope I will finish this one some day... The progress so far... Thanks for looking in.. / Rick
  12. It´s alive!! After some accurate measurement I decided to build a jig for the new chassie. I think thats the right way for the best result. / Rick
  13. Medical tape work just fine. It gives a nice texture and structure. You can also use the tape as a blowerbag, seatbelts and window netting...here´s a pic of my Lenco-bag. / Rick

  16. Update on this ride. Hmm...last post 06 dec 2012. Hilborn buildup from Evergreen rods and photoetch washers. I made one master, then made a mold and cast a couple in resin. basic engine parts... / Rick

  18. The pullies was custom made for me and I used them as a master for casting. Here is a pic of the resin product. The belt are made from 5 layers of thin ImagePerfect vinyl. The belt is just an experiment...so time will show if it works.. / Rick
  19. Dave, I could have done that, but there was more than one problem. The pe 4-link plates didn´t fit at all and the space inside was to narrow for the seat. Fixing these issues will probably take more time and will for sure affect the final result..so I decided to build a new chassis. / Rick
  20. Hi, Here´s some pics. before I put every thing away for a while. i have invest in a house, so now it´s time to move from this apartment...happy happy joy joy!! My resin CBD-injector got some nice Scale Motorsport carbon fiber decals. I will coat it later with some layers of clear. When I did a mockup with chassis/body I was not satisfied...the cage top didn´t match the roofline inside...ouch! time to get back to the drawingboard....and make a new chassis. see you later...and take care! / Rick
