Wow, really like that alternator bracket and pulley set up, you nailed it . Wheels are awesome, I'm ordering 10 sets for my inventory. Crazy, at one time Butch Leal lived about three miles from me back in Ohio, when he raced for the Rod Shop.

Looking great so far. On my build i reversed the spindles to lower the front end. The front tires I used are the drag 500 from comp resins, they filled the wheel wells ok. Like you I thought a taller front tire would look better. I test fitted the front tires that came the kit along with the super tricks, they looked great, just wasn't a solid fit. Your cage and motor plate look really good. Keep it going.

Built this kit ten years ago. Engine is wired and plumbed, interior flocked with some bare metal and photo etched items added. The car is painted MCW bright blue, with Tamiya clear coat. This was my last rattle can paint job. The exhaust tips are turned aluminum. A fun build of one of my favorite cars. Comments welcomed.

Great looking Challenger. I have some MCW F4 lime green metallic here and have been hesitant to use it, but seeing how great yours has turned out has now inspired me to go forward with that color. Good job.

Thanks all for your kind comments. On my bucket list was to build a old kit from my younger building days, a Mopar maybe, but it turned out to be a Corvette. Very impressed with the tooling of this kit, especially being mid-century. Great suspension detail and everything fit together very well. Maybe I'll get around to building that MPC 66 Charger.

Finished this build a few weeks ago of a friend's 1:1 Corvette. It's built box stock with some detail painting, gauges and a few photo etched items added. Paint is MCW Corvette bronze and the interior is decanted CA dark orange interior dye, shot from my air brush. I remember this kit as a kid, with that scary working front suspension, but 57 years later it went together with no problems. Comments welcomed.

Thanks all for the kind comments. Kevin, the carbs are from Fireball. Roger, the fuel lines are from Pro Tech, .018 from regulator to the carbs. They are copper core, which I usually strip out so they will fit snug into the fittings. The A/N fittings are from RB Motion, they come anodized,.031. I've used RB Motions products for close to twenty years, in fact all the carb linkage was done using their products, great stuff, but be warned, it takes forever to receive an order and usually he doesn't answer emails.

Here's some chassis pictures. I cut out the stock well tubs and added the one's from the AMT 66 Nova pro street kit, with some filing they fit perfectly. Kind of my home-build rear end configuration.

Finished this build of the Moebius California Flash kit a few weeks ago. I had intended to build the kit as the Butch Leal car as it would of raced in the mid 70's, but there was limited info on the rear suspension, not sure if it was a four link, leaf link, or just leaf springs, so I did a no name build my way. I narrowed the Dana for the Revell 68 Charger, moved the springs inboard of the frame rails and added ladder bars. Used many kit bashed parts as well as photo etched, 3d,resin and scratch built parts. Tranny is from Comp Resins. Double drilled super tricks from Future Attraction with lug nuts and valve stems. Moroso tach also from Future Attraction. Paint is MCW B5 electric blue. Expect for the ill fitting front and rear glass I found the kit to be very well engineered. Comments welcomed.

Great transformation from sedan to hardtop. Everything looks really good, you are a master.

Also, flip the front spindles upside down for the correct ride height.

I'm doing the same build, but as a no name car. I used the tubs from the AMT 66 Nova pro street kit, with little filling and they fit great, you can also slide the inside of the tubs into the frame rails, looks neat and is secure. I used the Dana from the Revell 68 Charger kit, moved the springs in board as you did and also use the ladder bars. Looking at a video on You Tube, as the car was backing up you can clearly see the leaf springs on the big tire car. I used the slicks from a Polar Lights funny car with Future Attraction crowned super tricks. All most done, just glass and bumpers. Good luck with the build.
