  1. Cool Billy! Your building has come along way. I really like it. Good job
  2. COOL project! If you go with the modern wheels. I would use the Buick V-6 but, If you use the drag style wheels I would use a V8. No matter which way you go you can still use the "ARTERAKE" (HAHA)
  3. Thanks guys, The next shots should have the bumpers and grill installed.
  4. Actually that is where we bought it. So yes, we will be showing it at GM show in Carlisle, PA.
  5. We had a great day working on the El this weekend. Everytime we set a goal each time we work on it but, we run into problems. Saturday was a nice everything goes OK day which was a nice surprize. Here we got the rear tailgate moldings on We had to buy another Hurst shifter with the correct offset for the floor hump and I got all the chrome foot pedals trim installed Front clip is on including the inner fenders Hood and latches Here are a few shots outside under it's own power. 10. Well here is the reason I did not go to NNL East this year. Had to make a choice. Work on the car or spend money at NNL. Tough call for sure. We now have the body on the frame. Gas tank is in and hooked up. Brakes are hooked up and working. Stearing and everything to have this thing run so we don't have to push it around (it's getting heavy) Tailgate is on and some more chrome. My grandson says "thumbs up" first time out under it's own power in 5 years! enjoy!

  21. I actually finished a model car! The Revell 69 Nova just falls together airbrushed HOK white base with brandywine and candy apple red (no clear) I did not rub this out much so it has a small amount of orange peel. I added a few details on the motor. I have a 350 LT1 with aluminum heads. Yenko photoetch logos on the valve covers. Heater hoses, pre wired with plug wires, boots and brake lines. All the emblems are photetch added aluminum exhaust tips Here is a little tip. If you paint your photoetch emblems flat black and sand the tops off you get a nice black shaddow behind your photoetch. It adds depth to your photos and also if you check out the model in person it looks so much better that straight photoetch to see more check out the link 69 Nova enjoy!
  22. no, it's a SS clone. The color is 69 Lemans blue
  23. My brother surprised me by painting our car 2 weeks ago. (I live 180 miles away) We been getting together 1 weekend a month on work on the car. He not only had it painted it was color sanded and buffed out. we also painted the firewall, dash, back panel black, and black gravel gard under the entire body. Started putting some new and rebuilt parts back on the firewall Here are a few more of the parts and then tucking the body away. Next 3 weeks we will be reinstalling the body unto the frame If you want to see more photos go to the link! Visit My Website
