  2. I gave up my scaleautomag id cause this is a much better site all the way around. To me there is no bull,forum trolls,and or favroritisum,just honest to goodness modeling and good people.
  3. I wouldn't mind finding a glue bomb like that. don't rush it just for a meeting,tke your time and enjoy it.

  8. I had a neighbor who had a swinger that was beat and smashed to bits and sounded like a tank with the slant 6 in it I can't wait to see how this turns out.

First off WELCOME TO THE HOBBY When I first started off myself with painting I always did everything on the trees till I got pretty good in my ability to paint free hand and was able to trust my skills then, ANd if you got your kit from a local hobby shop see if there is a group you can join and pick thier heads for with tips and tricks also. somethings to remember. 1 work in a good and well ventelated place when you paint or glue,if you can have a work area that no one will mess with the better. 2 don't sweat the first few kits cause those will be your learning curve to perfect your skills. 3 Have fun first! if you stress your self out cause it don't looklike the box your not haven fun,we all started some where and made more of our share of mistakes,laugh it off and try again cause you will learn from them. good luck

I got the same amt kit that I was going to build stock but the origianl holes for the stock headlights were malformed so I glued on the custom parts and didnt get any farther than that cause I had a mental block about the kit,but seeing how yours turned out Im thinking around the same lines but a deep rich burple for it now.

  17. I got a bunch of the GEN 1 XMODS from when I worked at rad shack back in 2003 I had to demo them in the distirct I worked I'll have to find the one I custom painted
  18. to me I have used Black masking tape cause it has the right thickness and it just looks right
  19. Go with the corded one but spend extra doe the flex shaft attachment and foot speed controler and you will be all set
  20. one good piece of advice I can give you is to practice on idems that are of iregular shapes so you can the idea of laying down a good even spray before you jump to a car body cause the more you go at it the better the results you will get. oh and get a respiator for your self against fumes even a simple face maskto start is better than no protection at all

You gotta stop by if you can to the Tasca Dealership in Cranston Rhode Island"they moved in the late 90's"during the summer cause they pull out some of the old rides for display ps the bob tasca sr just passed away last week and heads of NHRA and Ford CEO showed up for the funeral. plus a little know fact Bob Tasca helpped Carol Shelby devlop and creat the Shelby Cobra.
