  2. Ok I cant find a club locally so now I'm looking for one within 50 miles of me. Is there anyone out there? Palmdale , Lancaster, Acton, Valencia, Van Nuys, Burbank. If I don't find one I'll just be a club by myself LOL!
  3. Stop sitting on your hands Gregg, this build is beautiful! And model building is therapeutic could help you out health wise in the long run. Mahalo brother
  4. Makes sense???? It make perfect sense and that's a heck of a job there buddy keep up the excellent work. Thx for my fix too by the way. glad to see you back at the bench
  5. Thx Peter its always a booster to receive such sincere compliments. I had some Ideas for Paint, just thought Id share them with you feel free to add your input on ideas if you like, right now the paint is an empty canvas. ( no pun intended) Was thinking something like this on the sides.... With a steel or chrome flame overlay like this... And maybe whatever wording I have on it done in steel with rivets , like this..... And the entire thing under water like this..... And call the whole thing "Drowning in Horse Power" What do you think????
  6. As I have been criticized for so called "BUMPING" my threads up via thank yous and updates to often, I will take this time to thank you all in one "BUMP". No really i don't care what those guys think and im gonna do what I do regardless of what anyone thinks (as long as it doesnt break forum rules) Who do they think they are anyway? I just don't have any updates right now as i didn't have much bench time this week, and I'm waiting for a couple new tools to get to me so i can work on some new parts. anyway on with the Bumping! LOL! John T. Thx you so much for your compliment and we all know your next Pro Mod will be on point. Virgil I truly look up to your work you are an inspiration and an artist, And I'm trying to get an autographed copy of your book, Can we make that happen? Brett Thx for your sincere compliment bro. Chris Always good to read your comments , and i cant wait to see your next Funny Car update, outstanding work you got going on there. Rick Thx again my friend Richard I would build for you if i had 8 arms as of right now I'm limited with only 2 LOL! and its no big deal to compliment John T's work on this thread Luis Thank you and will do! Ron PM means Pro Modified John He meant John T and thx for your compliment Mike Ive said it before, It's truly my pleasure

  12. In my heart John, you were just a friend that was away for a while I was just waiting on you to get back old buddy. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_laugh.png' alt=''> Romell
  13. OUTSTANDING!
  14. Honestly John I don't think you should have to apologize for displaying outstanding builds, but because you are such a good builder you will come under scrutiny at times, people will sit in wait for you to make the slightest mistake and then pounce on you, like you are the worst person in the world. take it all in stride and keep doing what you do best BUILD. Although our relationship isnt what it once was I will stand for your character as a good man and a professional modeller , you excel at both.
  15. Ok lets take this one thing at a time: 1. I wasn't speaking of you when I said attack my character I was speaking of the comment made by Steve in an earlier comment. when saying I post just to get attention. If I owe you an apology for that, then I offer it. 2. What I mean by expecting me to lay down is if someone has something to say to me fine but don't expect me not to respond in kind. 3. And yes If its said I'm posting just to garner attention then everyone else who post you included is doing the same. 4. And so what if I bump a thread or 2 or 4 for that matter who's business is it other than mine, and if someone doesn't like it they don't have to view what I'm posting 5. on that note I'm tired of this back and forth bantering if you have more you'd like to say to me hit me up in a PM and I'll give you my phone # and we can talk like men I hate texting back and forth. no disrespect intended. Romell
  16. Hey Sylvio welcome aboard and thx for the compliment but im sure you will find builds on this site that will out do mine. The soldering gun i speak of is a weller Pro 260/200 watt gun heats up to operating temp in 6 seconds and has lights to brighten your work area. heres a photo of it for ya.
  17. Is there a model club here in the Lancaster, Palmdale, Rosamond CA area?? hit me up if there is.
  18. Its plain English Mark , And it means what it means. No need to try to read between the lines cause i don't do subliminal messages. Un-like some I say whats on my mind and I don't beat around the bush. And I bump cause I want to, not cause I have to. Dont attack my character and expect me to lay down. Take it how you want Romell You know after I sat back and read this I realized I had to come back and add this, Im doing no more than what i have seen you do also, have you not thanked people for compliments on your threads? Have you not updated a work in progress? So is that how you strive to get attention? I wonder. BUMP!
