  5. Thx go out to Chris & John for your kind words Hey fellas i have a small update (And I do mean small) I went out and purchased a package of cheap tooth brushes so i can make the wheels for the wheelie bars. the color of the plastic is very close to 1:1 wheelie wheels. So lets get to it shall we. The pack had four differant colors so i decieded to go with the orange. the size wheel im shooting for is 13/64th very close to scale , this staedtler combo circle template will help me with accuracy. I drill a hole in a small piece of the plastic then fasten it to the cutting wheel chuck of my dremel , then I used jewellers files to get the plastic into shape. as you can see in the back ground I already have the first wheel done. here we have all the pieces and the final product... the wheels have brass tube inserted as a axle.... Stay tunned for more tomarrow

LOL! but anyway here what i got done today....... the bottom half then this was used to make the brackets that will hold the wheels on. here those bracket have been added heres a with view with em hooked up to the rear axel the top bars have been cut but cant be added untill my hardware comes in the mail this week....... and heres a couple mock up for ya......
  13. hit me in a PM if you have a problem with me and my methods, and I didnt say any names cause i wasnt pointing out anyone in particular!
  14. Job well done Andy but i do want to say, Insight of all the bickering you almost loose sight of the reason we are here which is to view Andy's project. I think that it is inconsiderate and rude to take over HIS thread with all the back and forth rederick and arguing. It doesnt matter which engine is a lighter color or which has a higher compression. It's Andys project and his thread and should be respected as such. You guys talk specs good but how many of you have actually been on the working end of a torc wrench? I apologize to you Andy for your thread being so rudely interupted my comment included.
  15. You did an outstanding job on this Mal keep the goodies comming!
  16. Try buying your silver solder on Ebay, I use a 200/260 watt iron. And that maybe the problem why the solder isnt flowing good cause its not getting hot enough and cooling down too fast. How ever it goes Brett your doing a great job and if your system works for you then thats what you do. Keep up the work!
  17. They say "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder " then i say i like what your eyes have seen. Thx Don
  18. Hey Brett Great job so far on this puppy, I hope you dont mind but i want to give you a small piece of advice for your soldering. It will keep your solder points neat and the clean up work will be minimal instead of having a solder ball on each contact point. 1st make sure youre using silver solder 2nd. get yourself some soldering flux, it helps the solder to get in between the joints youre soldering. 3rd . When you solder a joint together just tap a very small amount of solder on the tip of your iron apply a drop of flux to the joint then just touch the parts being soldered. It should leave a drop of solder on the parts , holding them together and make the flux sizzle, then touch the parts again (with the iron) to get the solder to go into the joint. Your solder should now lay smooth across the joint all the way to the other side. I hope i didnt offened you in anyway and if i did feel free to stop by any of my builds and talk bad about em.
