  1. Dr. Cranky

Oh what a beauty. This is a well built and painted model. Congrats.
  2. Man, all the details are coming together with the paint. Super cool, and beautiful. Doctor Cranky and EYEGORE are proud!
  3. Given how quickly this thread has turned jocular, I say more than just Doctor Cranky's brain has turned to jello pudding.
  4. The real question (and I hope this doesn't happen in our life time) is what is going to happen when the temps start reaching 125 or so. At what temperature does styrene begin to soften? Obviously, this is the least of our concerns if that happened.
  5. You are probably right, nothing good will trickle down to the regular citizenry. I remember I was in Los Angeles for the Olympics and all they did was round up all the homeless and bus them into the desert.
  6. Carl, welcome to Gregg's House of Styrene Addiction! Hope you will stick around and share your work with us. Also, look around and have fun with some of the best car model building you will ever see. Oh, and make sure you stock up on popcorn. Just watching John Teresi's alone will consume lots of hours.
  7. Christian, that's right, you guys are hosting the Olympics. Geez, that's going to be crazy crowded, but probably good for the economy. Hang in there, folks . . . winter is just around the corner.
  8. The suspense is killing me with this one. I say go curbside. It will look interesting enough.
  9. I like the color, and thanks for sharing this resto piece with us.
  10. Some extensive body work, but the payoff is going to be BIG with this one. Keep it going.
  11. Humidity is bad for painting, as we all know. I am staying out of the sun too. I might rent some digging equipment and start working on my underground bunker.
  12. How are you coping? How are you staying cool? How are you building? You don't have to believe in global warming to feel the wrath of this summer heat, but it also means that if your humidity and heat index are through the roof, you might not be able to paint, but here's one of Doctor Cranky's idea on how to stay cool and STILL BUILD your models. Fill up the bathtub with water, and if the water is still hot, put some ice in it . . . and then get yourself one of these: Instant work bench, just make sure you don't drop your hobby blade (and of course, don't use powertools!) NOTE: this post might certify that Doctor Cranky's brain has already fried.
  13. Another art piece in the work, Ira. Wonderful, and I really like this subject matter.
  14. Love it, rust and all!
  15. Yes, YES! Keep it going.
  16. Moving along nicely. It's looking good.
  17. Nice color. Wonderful model.
  18. I will have some new eye candy of a sweet truck Donn is working on and just sent me pictures of soon. Stay tuned in. Glad to see this thread is still alive and kicking.
  19. Mike, where did you get the lens blower? Very cool
  20. Some beautiful rides that's for sure. Love that 57 wagon.
  21. I like it. Always have. It builds into a nice model.
  22. Thank you, thank you.
  23. LOL, that just about CRACKED me up!
  24. Blood in the paint, that reminds me of the first couple of Kiss Comic Books way back. They did that, put their blood in the paint.
