  1. Beautiful in that color. Thanks for sharing.
  2. A real beaut.
  3. Congratulations indeed, and the hard work does pay off.
  4. Looking good already. Please keep it going.
  5. Another fun build on the way.
  6. I like it, and love the Ford as well. Keep 'em coming.
  7. Mine should be around the corner then if you already received yours, Jim.
  8. I confess I did not know anything about Mr. Hines before 2004 when he appeared (and captured a whole new group of fans) in MONSTER GARAGE. Since then, I have been a huge fan of the fact that he has not changed his routine for over 70 years. And, of course, the fact that he still has his trademark cigar. I've never met the man, but his work and dedication speaks volumes not only for the folks who do real cars, but for us model builders. So I am hoping those of you who've met him or have stories about him can chime in. No doubt, he is one of the greats, so everything and anything you want to share is welcomed here. Here's a great place to start for all his new fans: http://www.kustomrama.com/index.php?title=Bill_Hines Mr. Rik Hoving has a wonderful Bill Hines archive over in his Fotki. Check it out here: http://public.fotki.com/rikster/11_car_photos/beautiful_custom_cars/bill_hines/ LONG LIVE THE LED AND THE CIGAR SMOKE, Mr. Hines! Your fan, Doctor Cranky
  9. You know I'm a big fan. Keep up the good work.
  10. Beautiful. I don't remember seeing this one before.
  11. Man. I love these Novas. Nice.
  12. Thanks for sharing this one. I had quite a bit of fun, and I think I learned to cover up some mistakes with the HOK paint itself. You learn as you go, that's what I like about building and painting.
  13. Have not seen it yet. Looking forward to it.
  14. Beautiful model, Matt. Lots of wonderful details.
  15. Superb job on that engine bay and chassis.
  16. Thanks, Art. Greg, I have most of those early magazines, but I don't know where they are right now.
  17. Love the kit, love the model.
  18. I remember this one. Another nice model. You have a lot of wonderful work, buddy.
  19. Another beauty.
  20. Love them all but that 51 Chevy is my favorite.
  21. If its this beautiful now I can't imagine when it is painted. Amazing.
  22. Love those fat fenders.
  23. Darryl, I think you struck gold with this one. If this were I real vehicle I'd be the first in line to want to drive it. As a model it clearly shows what a boat-load of fun it is to build a model using an extensive parts box. Love it!
  24. Articles like the above focus mostly on the Industry pioneers, which is find, but I'm much more interested on the practitioners, the early folks who made excellent progress and brought us to our present day building skill set.
