  1. You've hit another GRANDSLAM, Ira. Wonderful work. Thank you for sharing it with us.
  2. Zed, another great model. I have been following the progress over at your Fotki. Keep it going.
  3. Rumor has it Gregg himself bought a set of the Pearl EX colors and he hasn't been heard from since.
  4. Thank you for all the great responses. And I will add that for many of us the INSPIRATION comes directly from this forum, all the amazing work so many of you do.
  5. The pleasure is all mine, Donn, and if you send me pictures you know I have to keep sharing them with the fellas here. Eye candy is good for all the addicts.
  6. Those are probably lathed wheels . . . but I'm sure Donn will jump in here soon enough.
  7. I just got two copies of this one and look forward to building them. Looks like an all around great canvas.
  8. I like the Willys. For some reason I don't recall ever seeing these.
  9. Your words have always been my sentiment exactly.
  10. I just texted Donn and he'll chime in sooner or later. He is a great mixologist when it comes to colors. I think this is part of what gets him cranked up about painting models.
  11. LOL, soon, soon enough!
  12. LOL, I mean the "GOLD" of the SHINE, not the color. Yes, this one is blue, but all of Donn's work is GOLD!
  13. Lordy, all that yellow is making my eyes get bloodshot! Love the work you are putting into this one, Ira.
  14. Talk about a beefed up rear end!
  15. I love these too. Keep it going.
  16. Man, this is a great build, and the eye candy is amazing. Keep up the great work.
  17. Excellent. The original model was built by Pat Covert and I am happy to have it in my collection. I have a whole bunch of pictures of it in my Fotki archive: http://public.fotki.com/vsuarez666/voodoo-customs-chop-shop/misc/pat-coverts-carny-wagon/ I am looking forward to more progress.
  18. I love the subtle weathered touches on this chassis.
  19. I find the things that slow me down are the things I most enjoy like painting, scratch building, mocking up . . . the routine of building ends up teaching you that the beauty of model building is the JOURNEY not the final product, although, of course, the final product is of great importance too. The other thing is stopping to photograph or film the process.
  20. I am always amazed at how great Yost's decal work looks, and the beauty of it is that he covers such great tips in his DVDs.
  21. Here's what the Old Man is working on. He just sent me a few rounds of eye candy, so I am sharing his work with you. If you have any questions, I am sure Donn will chime in momentarily. Thanks, Donn, for sharing your work with us.
