  1. You brought it all together and it works beautifully. Love all the little details, and you made the finish look just right. Congratulations.
  2. Excellent color. Although I am not crazy about the wheels, I really like the complete look on this one. Thank you for sharing.
  3. Oh my, what a beauty. Gorgeous in black. Congratulations.
  4. Great job, Wayne. I copied the pictures for the next TZH SQUAD update video. You've done a great job with the details on this one. Congratulations.
  5. You are making progress, keep it going. Everything about it so far tells me you are having a great deal of fun building this one.
  6. Drew, I love that picture. My wife has an iPad it does take some great quality pictures, but of course it feels strange as a camera.
  7. Nice colors and it will build into a nice model. Keep it going.
  8. Jim, you bring up a good point in terms of thinking realistically about the uses of the camera before plunking down lots of dough.
  9. Nice start and parts, John. Looking forward to more. Best, DC
  10. Interesting discussion started, folks, thank you.
  11. Man, I love seeing models in primer . . . this one is headed in the right direction.
  12. Dave, I was thinking of the Cannons and Nikons that I am seeing on television ads. Digital but with changeable lenses. Mind you, I am not against any of this, and since I have a Nikon (I rarely use) with about 4 different lenses, I like cameras with few parts but with lots of built-in options. I'm not on the market for a new camera, but I am always interested in what others think about their equipment, and I ask here because so many of you take such great photos. I'm also seeing these high-priced HD cameras people put on their heads or which could be taken into water, etc . . .
  13. Tom, PSI levels are often a trial-and-error adventure. It all comes to how you mix your paints. I always tell folks the best way to learn to get it right is to practice on scrap styrene, cardboard and or plastic spoons. Case in point, there's not set rule for how your synchronise paint thickness and PSI level. Case in point, again, Jim Stepanek gets outstanding results shooting HOK at 28psi and I set mine at 35-40 PSI. After a few weeks, you will get to the level that WORKS for YOU. Good luck.
  14. I can't stop drooling, and EYEGORE has already salivated a pool worth of salivary-gland anticipation!
  15. Great job, Ira. Another fabulous model added to your growing collection of outstanding work. You definitely have your own style and every time it seems obvious you are having a blast building these. Thank you for sharing.
  16. I like it, I like it.
  17. Has anyone else noticed that the digital camera market is moving back into having a whole bunch of lenses and peripherals? I bring this up because I'm not sure what to make of it. Most of us are really thankful we can save a bundle on film developing, and having a camera with all the features built in is a great plus. I've never been keen on having to change or tinker with too many add-ons, etc . . . Just curious if anyone has predictions of where all of this digital photography madness might be headed. Thank you.
  18. Rob, I would follow your instincts. This is the perfect weekend to check out some great deals on compressors out in the home improvements stores. You might be surprised with the kind of quality compressor you will bet for a reasonable amount of money, one that will give you all the power you need. If all else fails, check out the IWATA SMART JET.
  19. I'm surprised I'm the only one who's voted MODEL on this one so far.
  20. Mike, great way to make the model stand out on that wonderful base. Nice! Randall, this truck is really getting a lot of personality and great details. Keep it going.
  21. Nice ride, wonderful model. Congrats.
  22. Another Teresi masterpiece. Pure and simple. The details make this one into a great subject, and it easily lends itself to some fun photography with diorama elements. Great job, John, and congratulations. Again and again.
  23. Oh heavens that's looking great so far. Keep it going, please.
  24. I haven't seen it yet, but I am always thanking Harry anyway for all the great work he does on behalf of this forum, the magazine, and some other projects.
  25. I agree with Ben. Sherline is about as small as you can get and still get a great quality tool.
