  1. Gee, Roger, that's a beautiful picture . . . you know there's always something alluring about everything Salt Flats.
  2. Check Model Round Up, they might have listed the arrival date.
  3. Dave, I agree with you. I've kept a bunch of these kits just for those wheels and tires with the wide whites too.
  4. Lordy, that's a nice clean model. I've always like this one. Great details on that engine. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Yes, Jim, and a few surprises too! Thanks, everyone. I really appreciate the input and support.
  6. Lots of great stuff. Chris, that looks great. Keep it going. You can make barbed wire by coiling to strands of wire, then coil another wire every inch or so and then cut to size.
  7. Well, Jim, you are going to get your wish for the next coming weeks or so . . . there will be lots of shiny builds coming from the Lab-RAT-ory.
  8. That's definitely a great sign. I wish more ladies would build models.
  9. Oh this is headed in a very fun direction. I like it. How about those carnies out there? They make for very interesting folk. Keep the eye candy coming, folks.
  10. Roger, that's looking interesting. Where are you headed with this one? Keep it going.
  11. Jim and Rob, those are wonderful builds. It's a great joy to see a few more builders adding more eye candy to their collections. Congrats.
  12. Love the color and the interior really POPS. Very nice model. Doesn't this kit come with the Elvira figure? I think you've got yourself a very cool model there. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Here's J. Ferren's stuff, another builder that does lots of hot rods and rat rods. His archives are filled with great stuff: http://members.fotki.com/jferren/about/
  14. Thanks, Christian. Hollywood has a whole bunch of great rat rods . . .glad you are enjoying his work.
  15. This stuff really keeps bringing me back. A diorama of that magnitude requires lots of work and LOVE!
  16. Some wonderful pics, that white GMC pick up is marvelous.
  17. Thanks, everyone. Thanks, Donn. I'm already working on number two. These kits build up just as nice as the 41 Willys. And they body and chassis come together real nice. Stay tuned in for more . . . there'll be other colors . . .
  18. Thank you, folks, I took yet another round of pictures that I think turned out better: The shiny looks better in these snapshots. Thank you for watching. There's a whole bunch more pictures over in the Lab-RAT-ory Fotki archives: http://public.fotki.com/vsuarez666/voodoo-customs-chop-shop/models-1/calexico-cobra/

  21. LOL, Jim, I do, but you know how that rust runs deep inside my blood. HA, I'm just happy to get a new shiny build in for 2012. About time. Hey, here's the video that shows a bit more sparkle than the photos . . . enjoy:
