  1. You built a distinct model that is always going to get attention. Congratulations, and again thank you for feeding us so much eye candy. Cheers, DC
  2. That Ferrari looks real good.
  3. You guys are on an amazing roll this weekend. Wow. Todd, thanks for joining up the TZH, and Welcome to the best model car forum on the planet.
  4. Thanks, Tom. Mike, these Pearl Ex powders are magic.
  5. Thanks, Mike. The build is going through a transformation. I should be done with it by tomorrow. I will post more pictures. I am very happy because it's my first shiny of 2012!
  6. Wow, these figures are looking great. The Zombies are fabulous and so are the GOOD guys. If you cast these you are going to be able to sell the sets like hot cakes. Excellent. It's really going to put a bunch of great figures on the market, not to mention the fact that ZOMBIE figures don't exist in 1/24th scale.
  7. Again, thanks, Mike!
  8. Andy, I love the ride, and that weathered engine looks very cool. Nice job, buddy.
  9. Beautiful undercarriage weathering. Wonderful model all around. Thank you.
  10. Superb, my favorite is Black Magic.
  11. Keep it going, Alyn!
  12. Mark, thank you for sharing this build. It's amazing. Goes to show you what you can do with a beautiful model and then a beautiful base. WOW!
  13. Bob, that is a custom mixed color topped with Pearl Ex powders my new passion and madness. The powders are mixed into the clear and that's it. It just makes the paint dance. Hey, everybody, you are making great progress, and listen, if you don't finish, don't worry, it's not a big deal . . . I'll probably not finish this one by Monday, but I will have it done in couple of days later. The idea is to help everyone generate yet another new model. Cheers, DC
  14. Paul I used this little piece of upholstery paper to show the mirror finish, but I like the idea of actually using it on the interior. Let me see. I was actually thinking of just going completely stock . . .
  15. I love the way the truck sits so low. Great work on the suspension conversion in particular in the back. Keep it going, please.
  16. That's a good one, Harry. I also recommend the OTT lights. http://www.amazon.com/OttLite-OTL13MAG-Task-Magnifier-Flip-Down/dp/B001888W1W/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1329650271&sr=8-3
  17. Thanks for the kind words, folks. Andy, you gonna have lots of fun. Donn, I'm telling you it's very easy to lose our minds with these Pearl EX powders. All I did was premix half a tip of coffee stirrer of transference gold with half a tip of sparkle gold, mixed it into the clear and shot it . . . you actually see it crawling over the paint, changing in bursts under the light. I'm telling you, I'm losing my mind!
  18. You are right, Harry, I am hoping others will chime in with their experiences, ideas, and examples. Still though, Mike, thank you for the great picture. I have saved it to my files. Thank you. Yes, that's exactly what I had in mind.
  19. Reddish might be better with some wisps of black smoke in the distance.
  20. I like it, where did the light tree come from? I think you are going to have lots of fun with this one.
  21. Thanks, Tony, for the kind words. Mike, feel free to tinker all you want, I'd love to get one of those strange red sunsets in the background. Some black smoke would be nice . . .
  22. Jim, you crack me up.
  23. It's 1/24h, buddy. The Revell Shelby Cobra "Street Burner". I LOVE it. It's so cool. You have to smooth out the body because it does have a couple of lines and seams here and there, but nothing big. I've got the body painted and decals are next while the other parts in primer dry over night . . .
  24. All right, Donn, I started with you Calico color formula, but ended up tinkering with those EFFEX Powders and you know how it goes . . . I mixed transference gold with gold sparkle and came up with this. Needless to say, I like the results, although it is quite a difference from your Calico . . . so I'm calling mine CALEXICO, which is the name of this build CALEXICO COBRA.
