  1. The objective, at least for me, has always been to stay positive, to offer constructive criticism, to have some fun and exercise a bit of humor when I can. Not all posts are going to be substantive. The most fun I can have is to see more eye candy, to see builders thriving and in the building pocket/zone. The popcorn is popped, the chair comfy, and all I have to do is lean back and enjoy all the great builds going on in the forum on a daily basis. It can't get any better than that.
  2. Welcome to the Enamel Madhouse, Edward. You are all caught up now, and all you have to do is go ENAMEL crazy!
  3. Rob, a 3-day build for a kit like that would be crazy. It's a kit that deserves a bit more time. Of course, I'm not saying it can't be done, but it would be best to do it right. Lucky you who have a copy already. I hope many will step up and build theirs. I have a few ideas . . .
  4. Peter, thank you, but you know nobody pays attention to the number of posts. I mean, we would if there'd be a prize attached! I think the Big Kahuna mentioned once that whoever gets to 50,000 first gets a free trip to Hawaii to hang out with him on the beach, do some surfing, eat sand-pit BBQ pork, and drink lots of Pina Coladas, etc . . .etc . . . I have been here since 2006, the year that some other forum locked (and made disappear) our WW3 and many of us came over after that, and this is our new home! Ah, home sweet home. Anyway, I am looking forward to lots of eye candy in the next 10,000! Watch out, Harry, I'm coming to get you!
  5. Yes, the instructions will have to be read several time! Before even removing the first piece off the sprues. I thin it's going to be something quite different to paint this model, that's for sure.
  6. LOL, Jim! Every since BAD PENNEY you've been ultra sensitive to that word.
  7. 72 seats, yikes! I might have to turn the upstairs into a Disco!
  8. Bless your heart, Geoff. Amazing, so many parts, but that's what makes this kit so beautiful. The possibilities are going to be endless. Thank you for sharing the eye candy.
  9. Matt, that sound like music to my ears. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I have all sorts of ideas piling up.
  10. Thank you, Marcos and Tom! I appreciate it.
  11. A gasser London Taxi would be cool, I think.
  12. That's a good idea, Jim.
  13. Steven, I thought about that. It looks like something out of the Will Smith WILD WEST movie. That would be cool.
  14. Roger, I keep thinking about good candidates, and this one came to mind. The 59 Corvette with its double headlighs:
  15. I agree with Jim, I'd like to see more pictures of the garage and the interior.
  16. Whoever gets this first, please show the contents of it. I'd really and truly appreciate it. (Big Kahuna, did you get one?) Model Round Up has it listed for early March (just a few more days) http://www.modelroundup.com/category-s/42.htm And I would love to do a CB to see how many of these suckers can be build in a multitude of ways . . . If you are interested, you can go here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=54521
  17. I know this is a bit premature, but perhaps this will get lots of people interested and salivatin'. The London Bus is about to arrive at the Model Round Up . . . . http://www.modelroundup.com/category-s/42.htm And I am thinking of turning one of these puppies into a Circus bus. But you can do it any way you want, any style, any finish as long as you build one and have fun doing it. The price is a bit steep, but I am assuming it will be totally worth it. No rules, but hopefully if we can build it and show it here by March of 2013, that would be fantabulous! Go head, I dare you to catch London Bus Fever. Once you catch it, there's no cure but pure styrene addiction! Cheers, DC
  18. Man, you keep digging up some great eye candy. Now that the London Bus is about to come out, the temptation is going to be to turn it into a circus bus like the one above.
  19. Nice, clean model . . . I like it.
  20. I think this is a great model you've got in the works. Can't wait to see it in paint.
  21. Beautiful, the way this one is turning out.
  22. That dark blue vehicle has a gorgeous paint job. Very nice.
  23. Jonathan, that's one nice and clean models, and the pictures are great too. Thank you.
  24. LONG LIVE CRUDDY, RUST, and NICE! Wonderful, thanks for the eye candy.
