  1. Thanks for sharing, Erik. Oh man, those look like great kits. I'm sure they build up nice.
  2. Michael L, it's a whole world of fun out there. Why do you think so many of us here stay styrene addicted!
  3. Bring it on, Donn, watching you go will get me fired up again.
  4. Niko, you betcha. I would also like to the the 75 Mustang come back too.
  5. Nah, there's nothing out there . . . which is why a few folks are building their own. I'm hoping there will be something soon enough for us to be able to have some fun with when it comes to Zombie figures in 1/24th scale.
  6. HA! We'll try our best to stay out of trouble. Hey, I am getting back to those unfinished glossy builds that I painted over the Holidays. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some pictures up when I make enough progress. I've been in a building funk lately, but it's happened before, hopefully you'll be sending more inspiration my way soon.
  7. Jim, I don't have any experience with this camera, but I imagine you are researching already based on your basic needs and requirements. I stand by my Cannon Powershot XIS10, and I've had it now for about 4 years and have gotten quite a lot of good use out of it.
  8. Those early years, Tom, are the cool ones. We'll see if maybe they answer the clamor for such kits to be brought back. The Pacer would be a good addition to the list too. We can only hope.
  9. Lordy, that's looking beautiful. Can't wait to see it in paint. Keep it going.
  10. Richie, your guest is as good as mine. There are a couple of people working on some modified figures, but they haven't finished the work yet. I am hoping to see some great results, and possibly some great figures in the market soon. I had made contact with a Greek sculptor to do some figures but the price was a bit too steep. He wanted around 700 dollars for the sculpt and they would still have to be molded and cast, which was going to add even more to the expense. Can't afford it, but I know the work was going to be first rate.
  11. LOL! The worse thing that can happen, Donn, is that we open a deli style sandwich shop to provide modeler with lots of vitamins and fuel!
  12. Chuck, I know you are a big fan of taking pictures outside in very bright light to capture all those interesting shadows in your work. Excellent results all the time.
  13. That looks like an interesting kit, Chuck, and they parts should be enough to build something interesting in the world of Rat Rods. And, of course, the coffin is an extra added bonus for all sorts of builds and dioramas. Thanks for breaking it down for us.
  14. Wow, Erik, lucky you who have these beauties in your collection. I am hoping when and if they put these out, they will try put as many extra parts into the kits as is possible. The 74 3 in 1 is the way to go. We can only keep our fingers crossed.
  15. Me too, it's looking pretty good . . . hope you keep going.
  16. Yes, my understanding with all these Jacquard products is that they really POP over black. Everything I've read about them in all the different craft uses, black is always the perfect undercoat/foundation.
  17. Thanks for the eye candy. Love the pictures too.
  18. Beautiful!
  19. Glenn, in your part of the world they make some of the best Hogs Head Cheese. Some crackers and hot sauce and you've got some good snacks!
  20. Harold, I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised with the Salt technique.
  21. Octopus or not, you are feeding us a heck of a lot of great eye candy. I'd like to see more Pearl X powder experimentation too.
  22. I can't wait to see how this one will end up on that beach scene . . . keep it going.
  23. Well, if he took them with a digital, you know how easy it is to transfer them via email, etc . . . hope you get them . . .
  24. Welcome back, and the catching up is always fun to do on this forum. Lots of treats await you. Best, DC
  25. Tom, feel free to share some of your paint jobs with us.
