  1. All right, I'm committed now: http://www.youtube.com/user/damncranky666?feature=mhee
  2. LOL, Ira, are you showing off? HA. if you finish those three, that would be so much eye candy our eyes might just pop out.
  3. That's all we can do. Try, that's all we can. Do!
  4. Rattled canned straight or did you decant it?
  5. Why the Gremlin? Oh man, I just got it and think it is so cool. I haven't seen a Gremlin since I rode in one in 1977. Plus it's a cool kit with not too many parts. Check out the one Dave Van is building here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=51456&pid=597524&st=100&#entry597524
  6. Or maybe I can get Donn Yost to stop by Prumanti Bros. and send me a couple of their infamous sandwiches from Pittsburgh!
  7. I've told the wife to please defrost of few more blocks of Scrapple for the infamous 2AM Scrapple Sandwiches which will hopefully boost my energy, or set the Lab-RAT-ory on fire! Nothing produces more methane than a Scrapple Sandwich.
  8. Dave, this one is INSPIRING the heck out of me. Great job. Now if I can only get it to look as good come Monday night! LOL!
  9. LOL, and if I survive that, then I'll do just fine for the Post Apocalypse build which is a year-long CB. Wouldn't it be interesting to find out if you can in fact build a car in 24 hours, or 72. It might just change the way you build, for good or bad. It's an experiment. The kind we love here in the Lab-RAT-ory!
  10. For anyone out there who thinks I am crazy, well, think again. THIS IS CRAZY, but what would you expect on a Friday the 13th over a long weekend. We'll find out who survives come Monday night. Oh, and please post all your progress here. I'm going to try my best to keep track of the build via photographs. I got my table top photo studio all clean and ready to go. Josh, in all honesty, neither could I. If I survive this one, then I will be ready for the 24 HOUR build coming up!
  11. Lordy, Ian. That's some LOUD love. HA! Yeah, I can set you up with anyone you want. You are too much. How about a distant cousin of Frau Blucher?
  12. You are a real trooper, Chris. You can find the kit tonight and leave the parts soaking in warm soapy water. Get the parts ready for cleaning and primer early tomorrow.
  13. Take advantage of the time, build your heart out. There's nothing better than the work bench, some good music on the radio, and the minutes and hours will fly on by . . .
  14. I like it in suede a lot better. The pinstriping is just right!
  15. All right, I've had it. The year has started and I have yet to get something going. NO MORE. I am challenging myself and putting it out for any one else who might be crazy enough to join Doctor Cranky and EYEGORE on a 3-DAY WEEKEND build. That's right, you heard right, we are going to build a car in the Lab-RAT-ory THIS WEEKEND. The deadline is Midnight Monday! Saturday = cleaning up and primering the parts Sunday = Painting Monday = Assembling and detailing. Can we do it? There's only one way to find out. I got the Gremlin kit and I am building it by Monday. Working through the night is allowed. LOL!
  16. Like the song. The Kandy Man can . . . 70's hit, maybe, I'm not sure. Those are some very cool graphics though.
  17. Jim, are you sure about that? Low riders in Los Angeles started right around the Zoot Suit Riots, what was that 43 or so. Right at the end of the war. There are reports that the Low Riders started in and around Juarez as early as 1939.
  18. Come on, Maties, show Doctor Cranky and EYEGORE some love, come by and check out the LOUNGE! There's gonna be something new every day added! Show your love! :D B)
  19. Oh yeah! I am salivatin' all over this thread already! Keep 'em coming!
  20. Big Kahuna is talking ALIEN? It looks like something from another planet. LOL!
  21. Nice Vette. Looks like you are on your way with it.
  22. LOL, I've got another decade before I can even start thinking about retiring, but you know I am looking forward to it. Oh yeah to wake up and not have to go any place because it's your responsibility. Nice freedom.
  23. All right, Rodney, those weld seams are perfect. Nice job. You guys are really dishing out some amazing eye candy. I gotta catch up. Shoot, I've only opened up the boxes of the Gremlin and the Van.
  24. LOL, JIm, it sounds like you are going to have a great Friday night! Cheers.
