  1. Wow, sanded smooth. I get it, it would have never dawned on me to do that. No wonder it's a perfect fit. Very cool.
  2. Can't wait to see more progress . . . happy building.
  3. Why not? Go for it, Mark. 1/35 and 1/32 military fit right in with slight modifications! Have fun. And Chuck, he with the biggest gun becomes SQUAD COMMANDER! HA!
  4. Mark, look on the bright side, it sounds like you've been (and stayed) inspired by all those challenges to build and have fun, and so you shall. Can't wait to see what you cook up. Rodney, that's a wonderful scratch-built gun. See what happens when you start having fun with this stuff? Amazing.
  5. Looking good. Where are you getting the roof from?
  6. Mike, you are right about it being slow, and I recommend you let the body sit for a couple of days with a running mini fan . . .
  7. EYEGORE says Doctor Cranky made an appearance on there last night, a brief one at that, but maybe he wrecked it!
  8. You can cut down a bunch of them and put them into your liquid cement to thicken it into a gap-filling paste. I normally keep a few around, the long straight ones in case I need to make an antennae or some other length of thin wire. You hold it over a candle and stretch it. Just little tricks and tips. It's all good.
  9. The bed is really looking perfect for this build. Great job. Please keep it going!
  10. Derrick, those Zombies are beautiful, and soon our wait for getting our hands on them will be over. Great work on the poses. They all look very good. I think the paint will bring out their features even more. Folks, you guys are on a roll. Keep the eye candy coming. Sgt. EYEGORE is very very happy with the way you are all getting (and staying) ENERGIZED!
  11. It's an acquired taste!
  12. Danny, it sounds cool to me. If you paint it red and spike it it will match your avatar! LOL.
  13. If it had ribs, it would not be hard to put them in with half round styrene strips. I love the fact that is smooth. Oh, I can't wait to get mine . . . Thanks for the eye candy.
  14. Remember, no hurry, no stress . . . just pure building fun and your imagination at work! I never get tired of saying this, but it's true . . .
  15. You might call it the basic look, but there's lot of wonderful details to pour over and the chop really helps too. Great engine details.
  16. Very nice model. Congratulations.
  17. Love it, Tim. It has a good ring to it! LOL! BTW, folks, just to help keep your inspiration going. If you want to see lots of eye candy (plenty of it expensive), check out the FORGE WORLD website in the UK. I've ordered from them plenty of times and have always been pleasantly surprised. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff I bring your attention though to Mr. Phil Stutcinskas amazing work. I have this book and it's just AMAZING eye candy and inspiration: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1860111&_requestid=8219803
  18. Excuse me while I pick up my eye balls off the floor and put them back into their sockets. Oh my, that's a gorgeous vehicle. I'm surprised Jay Leno doesn't own it!
  19. Fabulous, and definitely a rare seen subject matter. Congratulations.
  20. Thanks, Neal. And Patrick, welcome to the forum. If you just want to make a fairly realist weathering of the chassis I would suggest you check out the work of MrObsessive and Mr. Cruz, and a few others . . . you just fog a little bit of overspray around the edges of the chassis. If you want to go all out on weathering, then yes, I would suggest watching a few of the vids from EYEGORE's Gunk University Lecture Series! LOL!
  21. Anthony, at the pace you are building, you can probably contribute several TZH vehicles to the caravan! Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see it in paint. Sam, that is a cool van you dug up!
  22. I don't remember the movie, but I think the vehicle is really cool. Love the Air Force markings on it.
  23. If you are going to drive yourself batty over all the little details and rules, then it's no longer that much fun, now is it? I say just follow your intuition and have fun.
  24. You are hitting a Grand Slam with this one, Ira. I love the graphics decal work.
