  1. I believe that's what Donn Yost says about it. It's better to spray light coats . . . I am about to start trying it again after almost 35 years of not working with enamels.
  2. Nice way of visualizing it and laying it out first.
  3. I keep returning for more. That chassis is so cool, and so well executed.
  4. What a great color combination. Love it. Great details too.
  5. Love it, great job on everything . . .
  6. Use tape underneath and that takes care of that problem!
  7. Those are some wonderful ref. pics. Thank you for sharing them.
  8. Very cool. I like it.
  9. I love these vans. They are so cool and remind me of California in the 70s!
  10. Where was I in all of this? How could I have missed this one? Jaw-dropping, eye-popping work. This is stunning, like the rest of your work, John!
  11. I'm finding out that I can do a lot of that primer work with Vallejo Primers and still get great results without having to set foot outside.
  12. Cool, get it done! Another one on the shelves!
  13. Very cool, Chuck. It's always a blast to watch you come up with your magnificent, amazing machines! Now, I'm beginning to wonder what you are going to do to that 1:1 you just got!
  14. Rick, that is funny. That cracked me up!
  15. The one primer I use exclusively with great results all the time is Plastikote. It comes in white, black, grey, and ruddy brown.
  16. You bought a car on the internet, Chuck. Now, I CAN'T wait to see it myself.
  17. The beautiful examples keep raining down on this thread. Mercy!
  18. That's looking pretty good.
  19. Exquisite. I love it.
  20. Those 1:1 pics show a beautiful body job! Wow!
  21. Tony, that sounds interesting, I've never done that, but it sounds right. Paint loves a dry, dust-free atmosphere, or rather we painters do love it. You paint at night? How can you see the real color, and or effects?
