  1. Very cool. I like where's headed. Please keep it going.
  2. Thanks for sharing these . . . they are great fodder for the imagination. Great stuff.
  3. Thanks buddy. Let me know if you had any trouble finding Floquil and or Vallejo Air Colors. I know MicroMark carries the Floquil colors . . .
  4. Looking super cool in that color. Nice going, keep it going . . .
  5. Wow, very cool, but it is going to require lots of work . . .
  6. That color looks good and perfect.
  7. Amazing transformation, great job.
  8. Beautiful job, Tom. Another winner added to the collection. Classy. Congrats.
  9. Nice collection! Keep up the great work.
  10. Excellent. Love the colors and I think it turned out great. Another good one for your collection. Cheers and congrats.
  11. T., in the larger scheme of things, that one is not that expensive . . . it sure is a wonderful subject though.
  12. I like threads where things resolve themselves without a little help from friends!
  13. Actually, the best kit out there to practice on is the Revell 41 Willys Street Rod. It goes together very well, and it will not have any surprises . . . and it's a fun, simple build.
  14. Thanks everybody, I should make some more progress today . . . stay tuned in, please . . .
  15. He spends most of his time visiting his favorite fire hydrant!
  16. LOL! I sure will . . . EYEGORE is working over time today!
  17. Sean, good eye, yes, I still have to finish weathering and then I will tone the chrome down . . . in person you'd be able to see the chipping and pitting . . . I hit everything up with some dull coat and some rust stippling . . . Stay tuned in for more progress soon . . . thanks for your comments.
  18. Another round of mock up pics for the fun of it and to help me stay CRANKED UP! Stay tuned in for more . . . I believe this one will be done by this coming weekend!
  19. I posted the wrong picture above for the windshield masking . . . here it is:
  20. While the washes dry, I turned my attention to getting the wiper marks on the windshield . . . always a fun task and one that really is old school but very effective . . . It all leads to this anatomical break down of this build . . . (with lots of pieces still needing paint, weathering and detailing!)
  21. I'm trying to create even more distress and texture all over the model . . . again, it is a slow process, but loads of fun! I found a great upholstery material in the bottom of a raspberry fruit container . . .
  22. Been working on the chassis and some general washing and weathering . . . These new AK-INTERACTIVE products are excellent . . . and they dry pretty fast too . . .
  23. Mike, I still love TAMIYA, Floquil, and Vallejo Model Air. Those are the ones I keep using with excellent results . . . just make sure you get the right reducer for Tamiya. For the Vallejo and Floquil, I use a little bit of distilled water and a drop of flow medium.
  24. Again, outstanding. This thing is going to look so good once you get it painted. All the little details . . . hundreds of them . . . lots to look at! Keep it going.
  25. Thanks, everyone. Rob, the fun is just beginning. I am finishing painting, and then it's off to weathering and then assembly . . . lots more fun ahead with this build. Please stay tuned in.
