  1. Love it, Chuck. Great weathering throughout, and the decals accent it just right too.
  2. Funny, you mention Yost. I was trying channel him in this build. Of course, the OLD MAN always takes it over the edge when it comes to detailing and wiring. But I'm honored you think the influence is there. CAUSE it is!
  3. LOL, don't get too used to all this shiny stuff. You know RUST deep in the Doctor's blood!
  4. Pure art, my friend. I Love it. Answer a PM that I just sent you, please.
  5. Jim, I think you've been taking all your Styrene Addict vitamins, you are on a great roll, pal. Pure eye candy, keep it rolling our way. Looking forward to what you will cook up in 2013.
  6. Here are a few more just for good measure:
  7. Greetings, CRANKYHEADS, here's a last build of the year I snuck in just for good measure. This is painted with REVLON "Mysterious Blue" nail polished and cleared with Model Master top clear gloss coat enamel. A street machine with new Pegasus wheels and low profile tires. Something tells me my love affair with this kit is not over (I've got three more--two gassers and one more street machine--in the works.) Wishing everyone a wonderful Holiday Season and a spectacular New Year, seeing as to if the Mayans (and or Aztecs) were wrong about the world ending and all . . . just enjoy your styrene addiction, that's what we are all trying to do here in the Lab-RAT-ory. Best wishes, Doctor Cranky (and the entire DCL CREW).
  8. BEAUTIFUL work. Loving every step of it. And that color is perfect. Wow. More, please, more.
  9. From PEGASUS. They've released four new styles that look beautiful.
  10. J, you are really making it difficult to resist building one of these. I've seen them out at Hobby Love, the 66 Nova, which is a favorite of mine. Thanks for sharing the addiction.
  11. Wow, I am delighted by how many ways exist. Some wonderful ideas being shared here.
  12. Of course I'm building one. You betcha. So far I am taking in all the inspiration of the wonderful work already in progress here. Keep it going. I'll jump in soon.
  13. Jim, Crystal Lite containers are see through plastic and tall enough to hold your stock. Just epoxy them together and you'll have a quick holder. Then again you'd have to consume all that Crystal Lite.
  14. That's a beauty, Jim. No decals on this one?
  15. Well, now that's something I would like. I'd buy one of these in a instant.
  16. Here's my opinion of what is wrong with automobile design in the last 50 year. If it is true that this is going to be the new El Camino, then I'll save my money and buy me a car built before 1970.
  17. The new PEGASUS tires are going to go fast. I love them. If you have not checked them out, please do so.
  18. This one and the STREET MACHINE version are on Doctor Cranky's TOP TEN LIST OF BEST KITS. After the AMT 66 NOVA kit, it's the kit with the most robbed parts. The engine and the frame, the foot pedal, the moon tank . . . oh, the list goes on and on . . . you are in for a real treat. I am currently building 4 of them. Yes, one is never enough. LOL.
  19. I just ordered a whole bunch of the new Pegasus wheels and they arrived lightning fast.
  20. Chuck, the rubber chickens are a definite must! What a great pictures. I'm drooling.
  21. You are up to your (un)usual tricks again, Ira. Loving every step, keep it going.
  22. I think you are going to have quite a bit of fun. Watch out, it can be addictive. LOL.
  23. Aaron, you betcha, those are good contenders. Why not, they look like a blast.
  24. Christopher it sounds like you are ready to get going. Have fun.
