  1. Thanks, folks. I had a lot of fun with this one, now it's time to get back to those 49 Mercs!
  2. Both interiors and chassis are done now . . .
  3. Thanks. I appreciate the comments.
  4. Here are overhead shots of the interior . . . I am hoping the white and the silver will really look bright once the body goes on . . .
  5. Here are a few more . . . Here are some pics of the interior in progress . . .
  6. Here are some shots of the chassis . . . I know, I know, I got lazy and didn't sand off the lettering . . . LOL!
  7. Thanks, everyone, for the on-going support . . . here's some progress, finally. Got both engines underway . . . using metalizer paints and the usual watch parts, etc . . .
  8. Thanks, everyone, here's the last of the details. I needed to put the right plate on this one:
  9. That's a great little tutorial, and yes, it's way cheaper. The trick is to form a good seamless sweep so that you don't see any lines . . . Great find, folks! I think it's a great idea to have a variety of options for those of us always striving for better photographs! It doesn't matter how good a builder you are, if you don't take good photos your work could never really be appreciated fully. I mean, you do in person, but you know what saying . . .
  10. Yes, it's expensive, but if you were going to build one yourself, you'd have to work out all the parts, and the actual model sweep would be hard to make. Anyway, it's just an option (or a good Holiday Gift list item).
  11. For those of you wanting to take better photographs of your models, here's an extremely viable and simple option! http://procyc.com/mystudio/
  12. I LOVE IT!!! LONG LIVE RUST!!!
  13. Thanks, chap. Oh man, it's killing me having to primer and paint parts for two vehicles instead of one. But I will survive, it simply means the eye candy will be delayed for bit . . . as I work through getting all the parts finished so that I can begin assembly. Stay tuned in!
  14. Oldscool that's super cool. You brought this one lots of class and style with great simplicity. Keep it going. Nice job.
  15. Thanks, chaps. The kandies I used are HOK, premixed and ready to be airbrush. You can get different kits from www.coastairbrush.com. Great stuff, and good results every time.
  16. Thanks, Tom. I use the buffing kit from Micro Mark. It's always worked well. I like the paint and texture of that vehicle. Experimentation always leads to some pretty cool paint jobs, that's for sure.
  17. Nice paint!!!
  18. Ooh, I like those vehicles . . .nice . . . keep 'em coming!
  19. I like the frame. It's coming along. I hope you make more progress.
  20. Interesting details, keep it going, it looks like you are fired up!
  21. Ooh, I like that front grill. Great job all around. The color is very interesting.
  22. It's real easy and fun!
  23. Ooooh, I like this. Keep it going.
  24. Thanks, everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I know I did!
