  1. Looking sweet, man. Keep it going!
  2. That's a well-built, clean model. Congrats.
  3. I am liking them so far. Keep it going. Great work . . .
  4. Great model, love the colors. Great job! Congrats.
  5. Thanks, Brian. Yes, they are all keeping me enthused about building 'em.
  6. Here are a couple of pics of the two I'd like to finish now: This one is called THE POLYNESIAN MERC This one is ENVYLICIOUS: Yes sir, gotta finish 'em this year.
  7. Thanks, Gary. I like these two so much I am going to return to a couple of earlier Mercs and finished them. Now that I am rather intimate with all the little tips and tricks to get these suckers to sit just right. If you build these with the custom skirts you will need to modify the rear suspension and it doesn't hurt to cut down the front one too. Just so that the wheels sit perfectly.
  8. Yes, yes, why only build one vehicle. Build two or three, the caravan should stretch into the horizon!!!
  9. Thanks, everyone. I appreciate your comments. It's always fun to build something excited, made doubly so when folks are watching.
  10. ONE WORD: BE-AU-TI-FUL!!! Can't wait to see it finished!
  11. Thank you, they were both fun to build, and I am glad I didn't ruin one or both along the way.
  12. Love it, that's one wild interior!!! It surely looks like you are having a blast!
  13. Cranky loves it!!! Great job!
  14. Here are a couple of more . . . these look bathed in maple syrup! The fenders were stripped of their chrome and then reshot in metalizer paints. I've built about a dozen 49 Mercs since it came out almost two years ago, and I think after the next dozen I should be familiar with all the kit's kinks and qwerks.
  15. Oh what a pair! LOL! You can guess where some of the paint chipped off around the back windshield, right? You can't tell here, but if you saw these two in sunlight, they'd be ablaze with flake sparkle!
  16. That's looking pretty cool!
  17. Marcos, one of these fine days I will return to the NNL East. I loved it the first time I went. Next time I go I will bring a whole bunch of stuff to display. Thanks for all the comments. I'm back on track finishing both Mercs . . . stay tuned in for pics . ..
  18. I had to adjust the wheel base on the second one so that everything would fit, but it means it's slowed down the progress. Stay tuned in for more progress later in the day.
  19. BE-AU-TI-FUL! Wonderful job so far, amigo. Keep it going!
  20. Great story line, love the engine and the trunk details. This thing is coming along real nice. Keep it going. More eye candy, please.
  21. Very cool, man. I really enjoyed it.
  22. Thanks, Gary. I am working on getting the second one done so that I can do final detailing . . . stay tuned in.
  23. Here are a few more with the hood . . .
  24. Here is one of the beasts . . . I still have to fix and add a few more things, but I wanted to see what it was going to look like already assembled . . .
