  1. That is a Chrysler Turbine by JoHAN Models
  2. Try brake fluid it takes paint off when the others will not . I have never had a problem with oven cleaner taking chome off it as always worked for me.
  3. Thats when NASCAR was the best. Great looking build. How about some more pictures. I think they could do it today and still keep all the new safety stuff of today.
  4. Great looking Fords. Lets see more pictures of both.
  5. Where did you find the 351 motor and what kit did it come from ? Sounds like you real 82 is gone to be nice. Their's a guy I know that swapped the whole interior, dash and all in his. He said it wasn't that hard to due the dash. I just got an 86 GT just have to figure out why it floods the engine with fuel. Fuel injection can be a pain to work on. Looking forward to more of this build.
  6. Man that is great detail on that emergency brake system. Great way to recycle those cat food cans on the other parts. How do you hold those small parts and drill the holes ? How do you cut out them for that matter ? Looking forward to more of this build.
  7. I open everyone I get, just to make sure it is not damaged. I also separate the parts so bodies don't warp, tires don't touch anything else, decals, windows and anything else does not get damaged. I think we become collectors by default. Most of us buy with the intenion to build everyone we buy or use parts from a kit . When we get older and have a few hundred kits, that's when we know we have a sickness called plastic dependency. Without new plastic to smell I would fade away.
  8. I like it. Nice detail and over all look .
  9. Your putting a Chevy motor in it ! I hope not.
  10. I have to get me one of these some day. My brother-in law had one around 1964 or 1965 a blue one with a black custom interior in it. I loved that car. Saddly it got wreaked. He didn't fix it as parts where hard to find for them back then. Seams to me his didn't have as much crome on the sides on the front of the coves. Love the look of yours.
  11. Nice looking build. You over came you problems very nicely.
  12. One really nice collection . I love all those 60's Mercury's . I wish they would make some reissues of those.
  13. Nice build, don't seen many of them. Need some better pictures. Even when I click on them they are to small to see much detail.
  14. I don't respond to custom cars much. I had to as that is one really clean build. Love the color. Why would you hesitate to post them here ? I would post on every board I could.
  15. Nice collection you got there. The first one is it a resin kit ?
  16. I like that alot. I have seen a real VW on a pole as a sign here in Ohio at a junkyard. I have not been that way for along time so don't know if it is still there. Please do more of them. It was Circleville, Ohio on R.T. 23.
  17. Niice looking motor. looking forward to the rest of the build.
  18. Nice detail on the interior. Good looking build. What did the wife think ? Got to keep them happy you know.
  19. Thanks to all for the info. I will try it and see what I come up with. Part of the learning of a new skill is the furstration of doing so. Thanks again.
  20. Now that is different. I like it. Looks like it would be a good mud runner.
  21. You got some nice foxes . Lets see some more pics of each one.
  22. Nice looking VW.
  23. Thanks alot. just what I need. Ha, Ha. A good laugh. I mean that in a good way.
  24. Where do you put yhe baby powder or talcom powder ? You guys are making it sound like it is alot of trouble to due this. Seams like know one wants to give a straight answer about this . I don't want to sound ungrateful but you folks are confusing me.
  25. Cream with gold would look good and make it like tuck and roll.
