  1. Don't you just get sick of seeing Chevy engines, it seems like every old Hot Rod has one ? Nice too be different. I like it.
  2. Why would they stop making the Mustang ?
  3. We bailed Chrysler out once and they turned it around. Which was great while it lasted. Now threw bad management and lack of foresight here we are again . The big THREE as they were once called are all big DUDS. Poor quality , Poor gas mileage, Poor design, poor reliability , no input from the public allowed, we know it all attitude and you will buy it and you will love it. Guess what we don't . I don't think we should bail anyone of them out ever again. This from one that bleeds Ford blue from my veins.
  4. I have a few guys that are interested in just the body parts of kits for slot cars. They would let me keep everything in the kits but what it takes to complete the bodies. What would you say would be a fair price for just the body parts?
  5. Hey MOM! I know where the kitchen chair went. Nice build you got going there.
  6. I have Hawk Models CO. dated 1963 motor boat . I only have the hull of the boat and I think the outboard motor for it. I would like to know if anyone has some pictures of this model. I think it is one of their Weirdo models. I would like to rebuild it but have no idea of what it looks like.
  7. I forgive you for the Chevy motor. That is looking wild. I think the blue looked much better also.
  8. Nice work on one of those old AMT kits. People say that are not good kits. You sure proved them wrong. Love them old old kits.
  9. The wheel base is not centered in the wheel wells. would look much better if they were.
  10. I thought those were to turn upside down and make a bathtub out of them? Nice to see something that you hardly see anywhere. Lois does look great for her age.
  11. Yes it is a nice feeling buying a reissued kit and knowing you didn't have to pay a arm and leg for it.
  12. Ed what are you saying he will get nothing? Thats pretty much what Harry and Cal said.
  13. I am a happy guy. I'll take all the old reissue AMT and MPC kits I can get. They are way out of my price range on E-BAY or other old kit sellers. Those greedy folks can sit on them now till the cows come home ! I would love to see every model come back from the 1960's and 1970's.
  14. Nice work. I like it a lot.
  15. Nice work on the hood. I am not so sure I like it .
  16. I would not think it would have those wheels on it if you want it to look stock.
  17. You need to get a price guide for models match as many as you can with it. Copy what you can on ebay on prices of builds like yours. I had a storm blow the doors open on my model building and damaged about 50 or 60 models. My insurance company paid me for what i could prove each was worth. I got a nice sum of money for them. Plus I got to keep them and rebuilt most of them. Good luck
  18. My T-bird turbo coupe had air ride. Some times it work and some times it didn't you just never new when. The car ran all most as fast as my 5.0 Mustang. The quality of the T-bird was very poor and it had all the bells and whistles on it. Everything started to quit working one by one. I got rid of it and would never have another one. I will take a Mustang anytime. I have owned a least 25 Mustangs from a 1964 1/2 threw to 1988 models. I must say the best cars I've ever owned. I have 1979 Capri I will never get rid of.
  19. That looks great. Very well done indeed.
  20. Nice looking build. I like the way you kept the hood scoop low to hide that big engine.
  21. Nice idea you have . Turned out nice. Much better than a NASCAR Truck.
  22. Cragers
  23. I like the way this is going nice idea. How about a Mustang Two suspension Hot Rod style with the rack and pinion steering ?That way you can get rid of the shock towers and still be all Ford. I have seen this set up with the Mustang independent rear suspension on real Mustangs. The Fairlanes are the same as a Mustang pretty much underneath. I'll be watching this build to see what you end up with.
  24. Thanks for the information guys. I will play with this idea and see how far I can go with it.
  25. I just got a Revell Lincoln Pro Street and was wondering if anyone has built a stock Lincoln from this kit. What interior and chassis would you use ? I would like to see some pictures of one. Anyone built one ?
