Sad news indeed. I have read a lot of his articles in the old magazines. He was looking for copies of some of them one time. I emailed him that I had one and if he wanted it. He emailed me back and said he had it. I know its not much but I talked to him by email . I would have never thought I would get to do that with anyone of the great ones. Thanks to forms like this we all can have chance too. I wish the best for him and his family .
Soon be 57. The wife gives a little flak ever now and then about buying to many at one time. She always knows where I am now, unlike in my younger days. Will buy and build till I can not build anymore.
My first new truck was a Chevy and it was a lemon? I have tried Four other full size Chevys and two s-10's since then and everyone of them where junk. I will only by Ford trucks as I have had the best reliability with them. I have had at least a hundred cars and trucks over the years and the best has been Fords by far. I have kept a record of the cost of each one and what was spent on them. The Fords records show the least a mount of cost and problems . My wifes Venture van just puked the engine . The only thing I have found with Chevys is that they get away with a lot defects in there cars and trucks. GM is favored by our government and does not force them to recall there cars and truck as they due Ford and other brands. Just take the exploding gas tanks on there trucks never made them fix a one of them but made Ford fix theirs . All GM did was give you a coupon to buy a new truck not retrofit a fix for them. When you look around you will see that there are very few of those exploding Chevy trucks to be found. Wounder why that is ? Look and see how many old Fords are still on the road most of them.
Nothing looks better than when a master does it. Great work. Thats why I love to see old builds brought back from the dead. Save all the old plastic you can.
I love what you have done to the Mustang. Just one little thing . I think the t-tops have too much of a black boarder on them. Ford should due t-tops again. Keep up the great work.
Great work on both of them. We had two 79 Broncos loved them both. My son would like to get another one. With the price of gas now days it would break a person to drive one.
