  1. Maybe he wanted to have the look of the visor with holes but didn't want to put holes in his. Other than that I wonder myself.
  2. Nice looking 55 . Well done.
  3. Tell him I think he does good work.
  4. So thats what they look like done. Fine job.
  5. I agree nice lines and you did a fine job.
  6. http://www.madmodeling.com/store/index.php?app=ccp0&ns=catshow&ref=distributors&sid=s652e88k12at9649pn1497r9l3ts1wp2 They make a nice prewired Distributor. I see you are new here so take a good look at the resin and aftermarket section. this link is also listed there. Not a pro at all but I have always been told to paint the light color first. A few topics have been about two tone paint on here. Just noodle around.
  7. Looks good. I thought there was a location for the ramps in the rear of the truck between the frames.
  8. As far as custom vans go, not that bad.
  9. Fear of it looking bad Greg .
  10. Looks just about right. The only way to make it better would be to have the hood kinked where they all did up here.
  11. Having given this some thought and thinking about what I did as a kid. All of the kits I built back in the day doubled as toys to play with . Built a garage out of shoe boxes and on and on. After a bit of time went on I had to change the cars that myself or my older brothers built for something to do. I was the youngest of the boys and had fewer kits to build but I had a bunch of rebuilders to change and glue more stuff on. If you had glue left in the tube you just had to use it. LOL I often wonder if this is why these kits are this way or they just started out that way.
  12. Went to an estate sale today. Picked up a few vintage buildups . highlight was a 64 Falcon convertible body with some costume front and rear glued on,67 mustang fastback and a 69 Impala. We all know the story the first guy in the door on opening of the sale took all the good stuff in the sale photos. All 60's vintage boxes with cars and parts. Is what the girl at the register told me today.
  13. Bill the last picture is some great fishing Bait!
  14. The roadblocks of progress are made by the people with more than us Joe.
  15. Lee I now understand why you have posted what you have on this subject. I have seen dirtier stuff at Model swap meets than the pictures he posted of the dump car. As others have said soap and water.
  16. Thats nice work.
  17. Looks very good Doc, however I do not think it will pass the NASCAR inspection for the Daytona summer race.
  18. Looks great.
  19. Not sure about the sugar cane after the run through the Plant but the corn is used for Cattle/Pig feed over here by me. I have heard that it was Henry Ford that sold the ethanol movement to South America, with his big push for the Soybean being raised in the US for uses like plastic and other things. This is back in the 30's and look how little we have moved toward a better option.
  20. This is so cool. Now you need to build a Dealer front with the cars being unloaded.
  21. You may have to look at the next state over for some referrals take a drive and buy a case. It is harder and harder to find what we like to use anymore .
