  1. I am with you on this . That hood scoop is not much of a sleeper.
  2. Two great people that have earned this.
  3. Great idea for a build and play, kids always need a cop car to chase the build and play Mustang. The kids do not care what year they are . us on the other hand would have liked the newer one. That being said it was not targeted for us is was targeted for kids.
  4. Tim I agree about the great eight this year. Pick any of the 8 and you have a great car. Hands down the best group I have seen up there for the show. Hard choice for the judges .
  5. Weather it is my cup of tea or yours it is still tea.
  6. Thanks for posting these Tim. Your pictures are always great. The AAR Lime Green Cuda picture #883 is a friend of mine I used to work with. the Shop that did the work also did the 70 Chevelle next to it. I truly like the Dart better than the Foose Car for the win, but Foose has a name and the shop that did the Dart are first timers at this show. Must have talked to the owner of the dart for 1/2 an hour. The Foose car looks fat and short like me in my eyes , but that is the cool thing about cars we all see things different.
  7. The new Raptor kit, a 36 ford, parts pack sleeper and a partspack t body at AutoRama in Detroit.
  8. I drove a 73 for a couple years but it did not have the wood trim . The only car that would start in the -5 weather at work. I would like to have clean one again. Just with out weed sign.
  9. Not on the Road but I was at AutoRama all day . Some nice stuff.
  10. In your best Maxwell Smart voice , Missed it by that much!
  11. We all have our favorites, for one reason or another. Nothing wrong with what you like or dislike. It is hard to put many on a level field because of the amount of parts and other options that make one kit better than the other. How do you compare a curbside kit to a full detail kit that cost the same or a kit made in the 50's or 60's to a modern kit?
  12. Welcome Roger ! If you go to the AutoRama this weekend stop by and check out the models there. Plenty of info around the models about clubs and shows coming up.
  13. I have seen many John Deere Snowmobiles but never a MF . That is awesome Chuck. Is this an old picture or does it still run?
  14. Just remember that these cars come with a very small fuel tank from the factory. The 66 we drove to Spring Break had like a 13-16 gallon tank. The big caddy engine moved the four of us just fine around 80 mph. The Enzo drivetrain would fit easier. Engine and transaxle just behind the drivers leaves you plenty of room for a fuel cell up front.
  15. Jason Hoods are very hard to cast and stay flat. They have no structure help them stay flat after the poor. Kind of why you do not see cars with large flat panels without a curve or a body line in them. I do like the deep dish rims better on your car. The roll cage looks killer .
  16. Just talked to my buddy that has one of these and he said it is a Dodge bed . He also has an International and says the beds are close but not the same. The big news for the 1961-model Champs was the optional availability of wide new slab-sided Spaceside P2 pickup boxes, which had previously been used on 1959-1960 Dodge Sweptside pickups. Studebaker purchased the dies and tooling for the 6½ and 8-foot P2 boxes from Chrysler, and designed a new front panel and a new tailgate stamped with the Studebaker name to go with them. The narrower 1956-60 P1 boxes remained standard equipment.
  17. Good choice with the not to often built Dodge. Yeah I know the prices lead to that.
  18. This is a good looking truck Carl. Did this give you any fits going together?
  19. This what the guy from Revell said to us at the Toledo NNL when it was first out. That is a compliment if you ask me. He could have said get the flattie out of our f1 pickup.
  20. Looks like it is ready for the mud.
  21. Customising a custom. Great idea and it looks good.
