  1. When a new kit is copied off cad it will be better ! But when they have to scan a car or use old blue prints they will be off in one place or another. Not even all 1:1 cars from the 50's match the blue prints. Things were changed on the fly and you had to get production going. When dies get old the fit may be off here and there . If the car they used to check there drawings was off well they might have thought it was correct . I for one am glad it is not another Tri-year Chevy , Corvette ,Camaro or Mustang .
  2. Someone has a cutlass resin in the trade swap now !
  3. Thank you very much for the info Rob.
  4. Great pictures ! Missed this show due to being under the weather !
  5. I am still having a hard time typing with my jaw on the keyboard !
  6. I have looked at this car up close in person twice at the Detroit Autorama . This car is very nice and spot on . you can not look at this car from a picture , you need to see it in person. Very nice work. You need look at this car next to the four door it came from . The pictures above are from an angle and you all now what that does to the proportions of a car.
  7. While spray painting a body it fell of the bent coat hanger for a stand ! Yes the second time on the body I kind of stepped (stomped) on it ! Stupid for turning the body that far over to one side then after trying to fix later letting my anger get the best of me . Now my question is what are those nice stands that people have in their pictures with the spring loaded arms ?

  11. The bike is cool but the camper in the background might be a bit heavy for it to pull around.LOL Does this mean that you attend the pedal bike show in Ann Arbor this Sunday ? I hear it is a good show and they have Mini Bikes this year. Never been myself but I do have the flyer.

  13. Do not forget that Model A door do not fit in the door opening like a later car does . They overlap the outside of the body . They do not fit flush when closed ! I have not tried putting my copies of this truck together yet to understand your problem (if it is other than what I was referring to ) This is a nice Build ! I like the way it is heading .Good luck.

  16. Is the nose on this car from the Midget car or the rat rod 1929 ford pickup ? I sure do like it on this build!
  17. Is this a fiberglass copy or is the same group making the convertible? One thing is for sure it is a great car .
  18. The Tucker would be a great car for a kit . The problem is even if I purchased a case of them to build many different colors that would not cover the cost of the kits for AMT/Revell/Linburg/ or whomever would do this subject. These were great cars with some flaws like all newer cars of the time . If you look at how the big three used there power to run Tucker under should tell you something . Yes he was on to something .
  19. The black Vette looks likea barn find !
