  1. Nice build so far with some nice advise to go along ! We learned a little bit today,.
  2. My brothers 52 Ford truck and my dads 55 ford School Bus /camper had the add on chrome signal box already mentioned .
  3. How do people expect kids to drive TEXT and use their signals at the same time ! LOL
  4. I was thinking a paint that flip flops . Just depends on the view you are looking from. Would that be in the peal?
  5. Maybe they just tried to sell to someone else but could not get what they were asking because of the legal stuff !
  6. I was talking about the rearend housing that is welded together , not the center section. Yes you are correct about the Nascar using them. Another reason is that the GM axles are held in with wimpy c clips that tend to break and the axle and tire start rolling away from the car.
  7. You have done Toledo's Jeep factory proud with this build! My grandfather worked at the plant during the war , so it is a special thing for me when they are built stock.
  8. The center section is cast iron . The rest is a stamped part , after it is welded together they are painted .
  9. The Truck was a Pikes Peak special . Not really made to drift . The Mustang was cool ! In the 80's I had a friend that drove like this on the street, we thought he was a nut job!
  10. My problem with the electric cars is they still go the same distance on a charge as a 100 year old electric car.
  11. They are always running when they are outside waiting , this way they can leave in a matter of seconds to protect whomever the important person is inside.
  12. Was that a little of the Beatles? Myself I only play the radio,LOL
  13. I like it.
  14. When a new kit is copied off cad it will be better ! But when they have to scan a car or use old blue prints they will be off in one place or another. Not even all 1:1 cars from the 50's match the blue prints. Things were changed on the fly and you had to get production going. When dies get old the fit may be off here and there . If the car they used to check there drawings was off well they might have thought it was correct . I for one am glad it is not another Tri-year Chevy , Corvette ,Camaro or Mustang .
  15. Someone has a cutlass resin in the trade swap now !
  16. Thank you very much for the info Rob.
  17. Great pictures ! Missed this show due to being under the weather !
  18. I am still having a hard time typing with my jaw on the keyboard !
  19. I have looked at this car up close in person twice at the Detroit Autorama . This car is very nice and spot on . you can not look at this car from a picture , you need to see it in person. Very nice work. You need look at this car next to the four door it came from . The pictures above are from an angle and you all now what that does to the proportions of a car.
  20. While spray painting a body it fell of the bent coat hanger for a stand ! Yes the second time on the body I kind of stepped (stomped) on it ! Stupid for turning the body that far over to one side then after trying to fix later letting my anger get the best of me . Now my question is what are those nice stands that people have in their pictures with the spring loaded arms ?
  21. Nice work .
