  18. one word, Sweeeeeeeeeet. one word, Sweeeeeeeeeet.
  19. Yea,Dave. That build was no where near awesonme. that build had a lot of firsts though, first time doing major bodywork included. Has my body work gotten any better? You tell me.... It still needs ALOT of work, i wasnt going to post a picture of it till i was done with the back, but what the heck. ill get a better picture tomorrow afternoon to show the major body work. the taillight section is a cut down 68' charger piece from revell, the body is extended about 2 scale inches, so i have to extend everything!that spline down the middle isnt staying, that was just extra plastic to fill the gap( i dont have a razor saw, i just use regular cutting wheels) i got the inspiration from the model known as "Typhoon" Heres a side pic.... sorry its so blurry, but you can see what i was talking about with adding extra inches. Btw, this is what that little roadster started out as... jeff
  20. i like it!!!!!! especially the taillights.
  21. I,Like most here, live on a tight budget and can barely afford models. Plus the boss is always tellin me NO! lol Although im finally getting her into the hobby slowly but surely. I dont build my models to make anyone else happy, heck the one i was most proud of looked like poo! But i was proud of it, it was the first model i actually kitbashed and started scratchbuilding, i built a crude "frame" for it and started chopping down a 27' ford sd body to get a roadster, sure i couldve bought a resin roadster body, but i already had the body, and it was messed up from my first chop top attempt. Plus i didnt really feel like paying that outrageous amount of $$$ for a resin body that i didnt know anything about. Heres my current tool list: Sandpaper ranging from 360 to 4,000, an exacto blade set(#11's only! i splurged on this at the lhs) a cheap hobby knife handle, and some super glue. I did splurge on a pack of .020 thickness styrene sheets so i could finish my latest build, if i need thicker styrene i just double it up, if its to thick i sand it down! I also have a tube of cheap body putty that ive had for almost a year! heres said roadster build, I want to revisit it one day, eventually....... Sure, it wasnt anywhere near show quality, but i was proud of it, i tried so many new things with that model, sadly it got crushed when i was moving a while back. Jeff, happy modeler.
  22. i mostly play forza3, ill post some pics when i get home(driving back from florida right now)
  23. hey romell, nice work on the 1:1 so far,ive wanted to put a roll cage in my vette for the longest time ,but cant make myself cut up such a good body, if you dont mind my askingthough, what kind of bike was that with the red and white fenders?? those fenders look similiar to the ones on my 50's western flyer. thanks,Jeff. Also, did you ever get my pm?
