  7. From what it sounds like you used a clean metal primer. I made the same mistake once, i had to eventually scrape the paint off the body.
  8. the only progress i really made was i made some "battle damage" per crankys hobby knife and sandpaper method, then some bullet holes the same way. pics later.
  9. I cant imagine getting a c4 corvette over 150 mph. ive had mine up to 90 and the back felt like it starting to fish tail, so i let off. I like my car to much to flip it

  11. thanks, im guessing since this is a caravan of sorts, my vehicle would be the scout, the one that goes ahead of the group to bring the zombies to thier impending doom
  12. on land-180 in a viper going around texas motor speedway in 2004 at the viper track experience. on water- 100 in a custom built puddle jumper with a blown bbc powering it. in 7 seconds- 120 on the back of my cousins suzuki 600(dont remember the name ) by myself- 110, i had to let up off the gas because the 'vettes rear starting acting like it was going to break loose (thats actually the same day i destroyed my pinion gear!) in a plane-almost 600 mph in a boeing 747 on my way to hawaii One thing i want to do before i dye is to drive a jet car and go over 300 mph.

  16. brian, if it were me building that truck, id cut a hole in the back part of the roof and mount a gatling gun on it for when your being chased by zombies or a flamethrower!
  17. if your still stuck on the interior(trans tunnel) heres a little inspiration. I cut the hole in the middle of the floor where it would allow the trans from the engine i was using(an ls7 from a c6 ) to scoot up in there and not hit anything, it also allowed me to channel the body donw on the frame some here it is with a supercharged 283, with a powerglide i believe. Just a little inspiration, keep it up!
  18. I f i hadnt seen all that stuff in plastic, i would of thought it was real!
  19. Very cool jared, i say leave the cowl at that highth, itll give you a reason to put in a bigger motor!
  20. I love old ford sedans, i have a 27' that i built into a hotrod, chopped the roof off and graffed on a standalone windshield frame, i need to get working on that kit again.

  24. Thanks,im thinking a flat pink cage, with a high gloss black, i did get rid of the camper, it jsut didnt look right. Ill just build a better cage for the rear. Jeff.
  25. one more question cranky, just so i get this right. You put down your rust color, let it dry(sand or no sand?) then wet the body then put the salt on? or spray your rust, let it get partially dry(still tacky) then throw on your salt? After you put your salt on what do you do? just put whatever color you want on it? only flat paints right? what about satins? thanks,Jeff.
