  1. i jut ordered my kit off the interweb so it should be here by the end of the week. Im still stuck on the color though, im thinking black but i dont know, im kinda thinkin yellow or even red.
  2. Howd you get that stance? or are the wheels just shoved up in there and not hooked up? How about a shot of the wheels?
  3. This car would be perfect for me! it doesnt have a brake pedal! Lokking good, iv'e always loved f40's
  4. I still think that that car is the true meaning of a muscle car That 53' ford is pretty cool, whas that a real truck? or just something you thought of doing?
  5. Yep, im in the process of redoing it, i got stuck on making the windshield frame so its on the backburner for now. Its eventually going to be a replica of my 'vette. Just gotta start the engine for it
  6. i like the iguana
  7. tThat look really good, maybe i need to get those dvd's, but then again iv'enever even used my airbrush Its just sitting in my closet.
  8. Who cares htough, this things meant for show satus not to be driven I just noticed the frame work, very cool, it has the appereance of sitting low to the ground, but actually sits up off it, very cool
  9. This is absolutley amazing
  10. I can start posting progress pictures of the engine if you like? I need to start repainting it anyways Here it is in a very old build i built as a kid. I built that when i was about 10 Since then iv'e added a blower to it though wasnt your definition of a muscle car an overpowered car? i think mines gonna fit in just perfect (insert evil laugh icon here )
  11. Its completley stock.....compared to a ferarri. I can smell the rubber now or is that a blown head gasket?
  12. That engine looks amazing in that little car, thats a true muscle car! why not keep that engine in it? Also whats that tuck in the background?
  13. You could do what i did yesterday, i wanted to get at least one model don in 09' so i built one yesterday evening(thats right in a matter of hours and it looks like something that needs to be flushed.lol) I painted it outside when it was below thirty, heres my method. First do all your pre primer prep work. then go plug in a hairdryer in your bathroom. second, warm your paint in some hot water for a few minutes so it isnt all gunky. Third, spray very light coats on it, then imediatley take it to your bathroomUse the low function on your hair dryer to "bake teh paint" after youve covered teh entire body with low hit it with the high functoin(you going to want the body tapped on good to your stand) Repeat as many times as you want, you can also use it for paint, just let the paint sit in a room wiht a vent, and when your clear is drying let that dry all by its self(no hair dryer) hope that helps Ill post a picture of the paint job i got later today, mind you its not the best(i painted at night and got some strands of fibre on it from my jacket) but it looks pretty good for the entire body being painted and cleared in a hour and a half!
  14. Really cool Eelco, im diggin those wheels Are those 8 singles on that manifold?? Pretty cool I little update on my entry, i still dont have the kit(ebay) But i need help on the color. Im either thinking one of two versions. Either one like i woulda built my elky into if i had kept it(same color, kinda like its all done except for the color and the wheels, which would look like this..... Except it would probably be hoodless and have a huge engine inbetween the fenders(still havent chosen that, im thinking an ls1) and a sedan style camper. The other would be a yellow beast, most likely slammed with huge slicks out back and skinny rail wheels up front, with a bed cover on it. and a hemi. im really leaning towards the replica of mine, but what do yall think?
  15. oohhh, and your tires are on backwards! Buti do like it!
  16. Did you ever think aobut adding a windshield? it might look pretty cool.
  17. Theres a truck out in a field a few towns over that was in a magazine. Its a 89' ford f-150 with a 427 super cobra jet, it has been lifted and all that other mudding type of stuff. I'd love to get that engine for a project, heck i probably would evn try shoving it in the 'vette!
  18. ill take that bet! at the begining of the year, this is what i plan on doing. My 84' 'vette with a carb swap, camle hump heads that have been ported and polished, stroked to a 383,a 4-11 blower with a dual quad manifold with two holly 750 cfm duoble pumpers, bored .30 over and a bueprint on the bottom end All that hooked up to a 700r4 with a b&m stage two shift kit. and 4:11's in the dana 36(posi). Stock my car puts out around 220 h.p. at the rear wheels, and around 280 lbs. per foot of tourque. With all those upgrades im looking for around 400 h.p. to the rears and around 480 lbs. per foot of tourque. I cant wait to get a 100 shot of giggle juice Still wanna race? Did i mention that my 'vette is considered slow among corvette enthusiasts ill even keep my drag radials in the garage Gah i love bench racing

  21. Im pretty new here myself, and this is a very great site. Youll love it here Iv'e seen people build from 1/64 th all the way up to 1/4th!
  22. Anybody remember the first model car they ever built? still have it? post some pictures! For me it was a crown vic police car, the old style snap kits where it had four screws on the bottom and came with a screwdriver. I built it with my dad one day while some family was over we didnt want to talk to.I think it was a texas state car, im not sure though. i dont have it any more it, like most of my childhood toy cars, met the unfortanute fate of the "crusher(any big rock ) how about it gang? care to share your first model? Or even one that made the biggest impact on your childhood? Jeff
  23. I'd like to see it! i think it would be pretty cool if we could talk the mods into opening a model ship forum on here, it could be for everybody who builds ships, boats, military, planes and stuff like that. i know a few builders on here who have said that they build military. I for one amd working on a 1/700 scale titanic, and it would be cool to post and share. Its my first boat so its probably going to be a glue bomb
  24. The goat would look sweet like that, you gonna go like it has skyjackers in the back?
