I don't know what kit the tires came from as I got some in a trade a while back. The wheels I got off ebay and they came with bigger tires on them I got them for $10 shipped.

Since our club was doing a Mopar theme and I had this old Prowler snap kit that was built up like this. and made some changes to it and ended up with this.

I built this one in about 2 weeks or so and was trying to build it to look like one a friends older brother had when I lived back in Pontiac, MI It was a fast & fun build, well expect for when the chrome on the rear bumper starting coming off But I was lucky because I had another kit to get a replacement bumper out of. I need to touch up some of the BMF but I think it came out pretty good.

Ok here is my Dodge 4x4 short bed truck that a lot of you have seen in "On the workbench" So you already know what I've done to it and I want to thank every one that has replied about and help me with some stuff on it. Saturday our model club had it's "Mopar night" theme and there were a lot of very nice Mopars on the table and I was lucky to tie for 3rd place! Anyways here are some photos of it. (still needs a few things but for now it's done.)

You did a great job on that 300!! I really like the color and a very nice save. I have an unbuilt one that I need to get a rear bumper for because for some reason it had 2 front bumpers in it and no rear bumper? And after seeing this one it makes me want to get mine out and build it.

For me it depends on what I'm building and where I'm going with it. Some time I'll start with the motor and some times I'll start by getting the body painted.

David, thanks for bring this up because I'm about to run out of the Testors thinner I have and am not to crazy about having to buy more because of the price. So now with this info I'll go buy some cheap stuff and have more money for models!!

Maybe I should have gotten some of those for my nephew. I got him some 1/32 scale snap kits and once he got them built he took off to play with them and about 5 mins later he had broken wheels off of both cars.. But he had fun building them.

Sorry to hear you had a PC problem, I hate it when that happens and you lose are your favorites!! Been there done that more times then I care to remember But it looks like I can pick up some new sites!! Hope you find all of your old links.
