  1. Hey Mike, I'll give $30 for just one of your 16 kits.................. LOL I have one of the Heavenly hearse and I'd like to pick up an Ambulance one some time........
  2. It's looking good so far and I can't wait to see how it comes out. I've started to build one a few times and then change my mind for one reason or another? I'd like to some day build one like this one.
  3. Jim, for some reason the photos are not showing up for me?
  4. If he paid $45 for both kits then he got a very good deal!!! I just picked up the Petty one this passed weekend and paid $50 for it!! So 2 for $45 is a very nice score in my book!!!
  5. I hoping I can find something as close as I can to the ones on the car. Thanks for posting the photos as it gives me something to work from. Marty
  6. Yeah I was kind of thinking that, but the kit I picked up was missing the grill & hood and I won't be picking a new kit until Sat. so without having the grill in my hands I wasn't 100% sure I could do that. Thanks for posting the photo!!
  7. I'm getting ready to start building an '05 Chrysler 300C and need to know if anyone makes the grill & wheels in the below photos. Thanks for any help. Marty
  8. Yeah I did that right after I found this photo of the car with the backs painted red.
  9. I used some of "The Detrailer" and your right I should give it another coat or two. Thanks for the input.
  10. The 1st one is my '70 Monte Carlo lowrider I did for our club theme build for March for any year Monte Carlo The 2nd one is my '86 ElCamino SS which was for another club theme build for April. was for the '80's The 3rd one is my '93 Ford Ranger stake truck with trailer for our theme of the '90's in May The 4th one is my Dick Landy Dodge drag car that was a "junk kit Exchange" we also had a sub-theme for that one which was for any cooper colored car or truck, so I took a Predicta kit and used some Alclad cooper and I think it looks pretty cool in that color. Anyways thanks for looking and lets hear what you have to say. Marty
  11. I got this one done last month and I think it came out alright.
  12. I have been working on this on and off for some time now and thought I'd share it with everyone here. I still have a lot of stuff to do on it, but I think it's coming along pretty good. Let know what you all think of it so far. I replaced the 360 with a 440 6 pack.
  13. Thanks, yeah it's held up pretty well for how old it is. It has spent most of it's time in a case and then for some 10+ years it was packed away. But yeah it's black and needs some TLC as the photo makes it look better then it does. Marty
  14. Your Plymouth is looking real nice!! I've always like the looks of that car for some reason!! I have one that I did for my dad some 30+ years ago and I've been thinking about restoring it some time? Here's a photo of it. And I can't wait to see how yours looks when your done with it.
  15. Man this is so cool!!! All the work I put into this build paid off at our club meeting because it was voted the best one there and now this makes it 3 months in a row I have won and I'm feeling pretty good about that!!
  16. Well I'm almost done with this one just a few more details here and there and she is done.
  17. WOW is all I can say!!! Nice job!
  18. Thanks! It's getting the stock V6 that came in the kit.
  19. Your Chevelle is looking sweet!! The color looks just right for it and the red lines really make it stand out!!
  20. Did a little more to the Ranger and should have it done in time for the club meeting on Saturday. I still did to make a gas filler tube. Here what I did for tail lights and I might add another set of them? I think I'll make a mold of this part so I can have some more of them.
  21. Ed, take another look at the chassis, it is a long wheel base one Marty
  22. Thanks! Yep that's what I was going for. Was hoping to have more of it done today, but how that we are hitting the 100's I'm going to have to move my modeling to the house and out of the garage!!!
  23. This month our club (moonlightmodelers.com) is doing the '90's as the theme and I'm working on a '93 Ford Ranger Splash. And this is how I'm building it. I took the stake bed from the Lindberg '34 Ford Pickup Because I'm going to be building that kit into the tow truck. Then I started looking at the truck up and thought hey I could make a trailer out of it and hook it up to the Ranger and it would be kind of funny. I used some parts from the Model King Open Road Camper and made a frame. Here it is with some paint on it. I like the way it's turning out. Marty
  24. I have another bed and they guy that is going to make the molds will clean everything up and the parts will be free of mold lines and glue and will look nice.
  25. I'll keep you guys posted as I know more. I still need to take the parts over to my buddy's house and see what he thinks about doing them and what it's going to cost me to get it going. What would you guys like to see as a fair price for these items. Thanks, Marty
