Those photos look awesome!! My son got that game the other day and him and a friend were up all night playing it. And I do mean ALL NIGHT!!!! They had been playing all afternoon and when I went to bed at 11:30pm they were still playing and when I got up at 7:30am yep they were still playing it!! I just can't see how someone can sit and play a game for that long of a time?????????

Don't know if anyone has done this before or not, but when I was laying all of my parts out for this build I got to looking at the spare tire and thought it just didn't look right? So I started cutting it up and came up with this. Which looks way better then how it came in the kit. I'm not going to be using on this build because this one is going to be 4 wheel drive and I'm going to be making a spare tire holder that will go inside the bed of the truck and thought I just pass this on just in case no one has thought of doing this.

That's going to look sweet when you get it done!! Very nice start. One of my sons got that game!!!! And him and a friend were playing last night (25th) and when I went to bed at midnight they were playing and when I got up at 7am they were still playing it and do so until I left the house around 10am!!! I don't how anyone can play a game for that long of a time

Thanks for all of the kind words guys!! I have a few more things I want to do to it before I post it in the under class area. I kind of ran out of time on the build and need to do a little more BMF on it. But here's a few more photos until then

It looks like right now the only way to get these parts are on ebay when he posts them, his seller name is, pettybluecamaro2. I've been doing some more test fitting and so far everything is looking good!! So does this SoReal wheels & tires have a web site or does anyone know where I can find some? I'll post some more photos when I can.

So I can pass it off for an 80 model year? Which is what I was hopping for? And does So-Rear have a web site?

The flat hood is wrong for a '79, it should use the scalloped hood. '79 was the only model year for a Dodge truck with 4 headlights. All other years have two headlights. Well that's a bummer cause I was told it was for a '79 to '81 Dodge truck. Oh well still going to build it, but now I don't know what year it is going to be?? Thanks or the info.

Thanks, I'd like to do this as a short bed, but might have to use the stepside because I haven't had much luck finding the other bed. I tried to delet the other one but couldn't find out how to do it.

I just picked up some resin parts for this kit to turn it into a '79 to '81 model year and to go 4X4 with it. Check out the photos. Now I need to find some good 4 wheeling wheels & tires for it.

Well I got the Monte Carlo done in time for the club meeting and well see for yourself and how it turned out. And thanks for all of the help with the clear coat.

I wish I still had the one I built back in the mid '80's when I was in a mini truck club!! Yes I did just say that anyways the flares came with that kit. I think the only part I have left is the rear window which had our club logo painted on it.

Well I got the Monte Carlo done today and took it to our club meeting for the theme contest which was for Monte Carlo's Where it was voted best theme build! which was a first for me as I just join the club in DEC. 08 so this was way cool for me!!! Here are some photos of the end of the build and a few when it was done. Tomorrow I'l take some better photo's and posted them.

Here some stuff I've picked up over the last month or so.

I know and they look AWESOME!! And I'm going to be sure to do what I can to get a model to come out the way you guys have.

Guys thanks for all of the replies! That Camaro looks awesome!! Love that color. Kevin, lets see some of those paint jobs with that folk art clear!!! I don't think this one came out to bad.

Most good hobby shops should carry it. you won't find at any homedepo or lowes
