  1. Very nice job. Love the color
  2. Looks fantastic, I want to do the same but for Sox & Martin. Still looking for the correct Dodge cab.
  3. Looking to build the 67 Sox & martin GTX. Need a dana rear for the kit, is there a kit that has that? Any other tips for that build would be appreciated. thanks
  4. Any one casting a hood for the Sox & Martin 70 Cuda? Or is there one available in another kit?
  5. I have been doing business with MCW for 10 years and never had a problem. I fax my order and its here in about 2 weeks. Paint is the only kind I use, his resin is very good. I have requested special colors and they have delivered. I wish more aftermarket business would match both MCW and the Modelhauses service and quality. I don't need high tech, just reliable service and quality product.
  6. I have the 1:1 sitting in my garage. I built the kit with the AMT 68 RoadRunner chassis. Fits with just a little work.
  7. I sent them an e-mail on the 9th of Oct. and have had no reply. I saw the article in Model Cars and it implied they were still in business. Their web page doesn't have all the tabs working and last up-date seems to be from 2012 according to the streaming message. Any help?
  8. I have e-mailed him last month and he told me that the kit was not available at this time. When I asked is it planned for sometime in the future, I'm still waiting for a response.
  9. I know Randy from Perry's resin is hard to get a hold of. Is he still casting? Is there a way of contacting him to find out what he has available? Does he still have his shops?
  10. Are they still in business? I'm looking for a 70 GTX, and I think they are the only casters doing that. Is there anyone else? A 70 Roadrunner would be nice as well. I know there are 1/24 kits out there, but I only want one in 1/25 scale
  11. My daily driver is a 12 6 cyl Malibu, My toys are a 65 Plymouth Sport Fury droptop (Indy Pace Car) and a 10 Corvette Grand Sport Droptop.
  12. Anyone know or have the color names, codes, for the cars used in the Days of Thunder movie? Im looking for the colors for the Hardies car, the Chevy City car, the Mountain Dew car and the Superflow car. thanks Mike Stypolkowski
  13. I am also having trouble with Mark. Although I only placed an order on Dec. 10th. I have e-mailed him a couple of times already with no response. Its a shame some of these people are given a bad name to the resin aftermarket suppliers. I have had difficulty with AFX, Perry's and now Best Resin. Patients is not the issue, its communication, if someone cant follow up on thier promises then let someone know. I have had wonderfull experiances with Modelhaus, Reliable Resin, SEL, Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland, and many others, and will continue to do business with them. Sorry about the rant, Mike
  14. I have been using PPG lacquer for 10 years now. I shoot it out of my paasche single action gun. I have a paint booth set up in the basement and have had no odor problems. My brush is feed with a portable air tank. After I give my project 2 or 3 coats of clear, I give it another coat but this time I put more in more thinner. This gives me a smooth finish with little polishing. Hope this helps.
  15. Heard a rumor? Will there only be one building with vendors at this fall's show? Anyone else here this?
  16. This may be a real stupid question, but, what does it mean when the bell on the side of the topics looks like it ringing? I have opened the topic and it continues to do it. Mike
  17. Great models, where did the mustang come from? Mike
  18. The First Corvette and I were born on the same day.......

  21. Hey, I think I figured out how to post pictures !!!!! I am pretty computer illiterate. Here's the 37 Chevy I just completed. Used the prefinished kit, stripped it and repainted using PPG laquer. The color is medium juniper. Its a GM color from 1982.
