    The annual Showdown is a traditional judged contest. We award 1, 2 and 3rd place for each of the 21 categories. In addition we have Master awards for Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine Compartment, Best Chassis Detail and Floyd Bryant Best of Show award. Showdown Contest Info
  2. This was my 1st Vette. I didn't know much about them when I got it. But have never regretted traning in my 79 El Camino SS to get this one.
  3. There is a thin chrome strip that goes along the window sill. It is about .4 of an inch on the 1:1. There is also a smaller one on the top of the inside door panel.
  4. Mine too. I have had this one for 44 years. It has had a complete restoration over the years. Probably better now than when it was new.

  6. I did find 1 place that does these. VCG Resins They have the condensor and some ther parts. I thought there was someone who has compressors too?
  7. I got an email from one the the sites that offer 3d printed ac parts but I can't find it now. Can anyone let me know who that could have been. I think it is one of the established sellers who are moving from resin casting to 3d printing offering. My mind is drawing a blank.
  8. I was going to use the 59 Version since it already has the correct hood & deck lids. I do have the R&M seats.
  9. I haven't checked that. But ithought they charged the tax to the buyer as part of the selling price. It seem like this is a processing fee for the tax or something. I not sure how they calculate it either. I tried to comput it but have not found the formula yet.
  10. Ebay is charging "TAX" to me on my sales. But it is a small amount like 10 or 11 cents. I haven't noticed this before. I did a google search but did'nt find any difinitie answers. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

  15. Nice. How did you get the bigger tires on the rear? This kit comes with narrower slicks than the other kits.
  16. Any release dates for the Corvette C8 HTC?
  17. I have used this using the air brush and the brush in the bottle. Looks as god as Revell chrome. I haven't tried the sealer.

  19. That is the car I was looking at. I think the 1:1 might not work even if they were scaled since they are usually done in vinyl.
  20. Thanks for the info. I agree they could be painted. I wasn't at the show to ask the builder.
  21. I have the US ersion of this kit and it only come with Black & White stripes. I saw one of these kits in a picture from the Houston show yesterday that has Yellow stripes. Are these in the Germany kit or does someone make an aftermarket set? Thanks in advance for your help.
