  1. Thx Michael. I ordered it from USA Gundam and should get it in the next few days.
  2. That's a great idea Ricky. The clear flat is really thin and should level out nicely.
  3. That's an idea about letting it set until tacking might work. In retrospec if I new about tthe P/E vents were available when I started I would have drilled the holes.
  4. I just bought some of that Bill. I will give it a shot.
  5. Wow thanks for the steps on using SMS Chad
  6. They have cold & warm tones. Which is best for bumpers?
  7. Thanks Chad. I cheked ICEMAN and he shows Out of Stock. I will check USA Gundam store.
  8. I would lke to attach these to the top of the dashboard. The dash board is flat black. I tried some epoxy but it is too thick and squeezes out around the edges. Any thoughts?
  9. Thanks for the info. Do you have a US source that has it in stock?
  10. Thanks for your input Dusty. If I would have had the bumpers ready in time I would have had them chromed at Little Motor Car Co.
  11. Good nfo Dusty. I say a video and they were shooting the AK Chrome but at the end did a comparision. He likes the new Green Stuff World best. I just ordered some from a shop in Michigan. Hope to have it soon.
  12. Interesting update. I checked a Model I used Alclad Chrome on in 2005. It still shows bright chrome and does not come off when I run a cotton swab over it. Another model I did in 2015 using Spaz Stix Ultra Chrome 1000. Still bright chrome. Does not come off when I rub a cotton swab over it. Does that mean that the longer the cure time the more durable it all of these paints become? My Molotov experiance has Spaz Stix Ultimate Clear Coat 1000 and it did dull the finish some. I did hear the longer it cures the mre durable it gets.
  13. Thanks for sharing your results. ery Helpful to me.
  14. Thx for the info.
  15. I appreciate your position Steve. Thanks for the feedback.
  16. Thanks Steve. I have used Alclad Chrome & Spaz Stic Chrome with good results. But they don't stand up to handling. I have also had good results with Molotov and a water based clear on it. I agree the econmics are not good for Molotov but I do like itand would pic it ove the other 2.
  17. Thanks AJ. Ithought I mixed it thorughly yesterday by shaking it. It did have chrome floating on the top painr on my airbrush.
  18. I have a special project I need to do chrome bumpers. I mave used the Molotov refille through my air brush with good results. But I tried it yesterday (it is several years old) and it didn't turn to chrome. 1. Is there a self life on the Molotov? 2. What is the durablity of the Revell chrome? Thanks in advance for any and all help.
  19. Thanks so much everyone for your feedback. I am glad I didn't try it before I asked. I think the choice would be to make a resin master. Then I can either make more of those or do the vacuum form using the resin piece.
  20. I tried this with a clear windshield and it melted some. This would be the normal white plastic that has been modified.
  21. Thanks David. I will give that a try.
